2181099 tn?1337874414 I've wont hurt anything, I eat ice whenever I have a drink with leftover ice and don't feel like getting up for more. But once you can feel your bean move, you'll notice it more when you eat super cold things!

Avatar n tn If you're chewing ice for the nausea and it works, good for you, though I'd try to get some crushed ice (chewing ice is bad for your teeth, it can crack the enamel). If you're chewing ice because you crave it, check your iron levels. Craving ice is a sign of anemia.
9309926 tn?1405447056 When you drink or eat something cold before you deliver, your baby's skin will be dry. His/her skin will be peeling off & sometimes grow stuff on their face. It's better to stay off of cold drinks/foods.
Avatar f tn Yes its just frozen water but SOME ppl that crave ice a lot need more iron. I was anemic my first pregnancy and was craving ice a lot. She may not be anemic but I think us women on here are just trying to look out for her just in case. Take care.

Avatar f tn I spent three months this year with a cold face - cold upper lip, cold nose, and cold tear duct - on the right side of my face. It was very strange. It felt like I had a chunk of ice on the skin. Unfortunately, it's a paresthesia, so it's either drugs or the heating pad.

Avatar f tn Can eating a lot of ice affect the baby?... I eat ice every single day. Literally a huge foam cup of it. I'm wondering if like does it make my baby cold or something? Can baby get a brain freeze or make him anemic or something?.... I may sound stupid or crazy but I'm just wondering.
Avatar f tn We live in Houston, TX and heat is our life (Houston should be called Heat, TX instead) Last summer we had the whole month of Aug with 100+ degrees days and no rain. My Huband has MS, he uses cool water to drink, pour on himself, etc. He also uses the neck wraps you freeze, sams warehouse sells a cloth that when you get it wet it feels cold that he also uses at home or in the shade to keep cooler, and a cooling vest. He loves the cooling vest.
Avatar n tn Your iron level might be low.
Avatar f tn I am the same. I love sonic ice anyway, like will sit there and eat it out of the cup with a spoon, but while pregnant its even worse! I am now going through about 4 huge route 44 cups of ice a day but I fill them with milk and drink the milk then eat the ice. 34+ weeks Now that I think about it maybe that is why I'm peeing so darn much lol.
Avatar f tn I love I've! Im anemic pre pregnancy! Always craved ice, can't get a sonic drink and not eat the ice!!
Avatar f tn Ice is good but my chiro insists that only 20 minutes, I forget why. I prefer heat. I have a neck bed buddy that goes in the microwave and it is a godsend!! I have switched off and on heat and ice also.
