Because it is asprin and asprin thins the blood and makes it harder for ur blood to clot! U could bleed out when in labor! Ibuprofen is on the can take side! No ibuprofen. It's a big no no during pregnancy. You can take Tylenol. Also, drink plenty of water. Eucalyptus oil in the shower or diffuser will help clear you up a bit.

I was cut and once they shut the epidural off they would only give me ibuprofen. Yes, it was painful, but you will surprise yourself on what you can handle. Your baby will keep your mind away from it. I was very scared about pain with my first,but this time around I know I'll be okay. Just tell yourself that your strong and can very much do this because it's true. Our bodies were made for this right.
First: why ibuprofen? Is there a reason you can't have Tylenol? Ibuprofen isn't recommended during pregnancy. Second: as to the pain. I have found that if I sleep sitting reclined with a pillow under my knees it helps. You can take unisom to help you sleep also.
Ibuprofen is not to be taken during pregnancy.. Ive gt migraines and now that in pregnant its so severe because I can't take ny usual medication so I take paracetamol low dose for the sake of the baby even tho it doesn't helo much.. try washing her hair with cold water n place cold olive oil in her hair she should feel better with that.. well it works for me..
Never ever ever take advil or ibuprofen during pregnancy. It's a blood thinner. Your md should have given you a safe med list. Tylenol.
i am currently 8 wks and 3 days pregnant and have had a really bad wisdom toothache! I just couldnt take the pain anymore and took a ibuprofen 800mg without even thinking about it! Now im freaking out :/ will it harm my baby since its in its development stage? I really hope not !

Ibuprofen (and all NSAIDs) are a big no go during pregnancy (with the occasional exception of aspirin for certain medical conditions, and only under direction of a physician).... Tylenol (acetaminophen) is really the only thing you can take.
