Secondly, you need to speak with a medical doctor to point you in the right direction for you needs. Iburpofen in large doses can do serious liver damage. I over dosed on 300 200 mg Ibuprofen and was taken to the ER last week where i was given charcoal. Ever since i came back home my body has been acting funny and i am having extreme pain (it feels like my right kidney but it seems a little low to be my kidney) and i was wondering if there could have been some internal damage that would not have shown up right after the overdose but a little bit after? This past 2 weeks I was ill with the h1n1 virus. During the 2 weeks, I consumed over 50 200mg pills of ibuprofen. I have had blood work done twice (5 days ago and 2 days ago). Both resulted in increased liver enzymes. I haven't had any ibuprofen in 4 days. Is it possible that my liver enzyme increase is a result of the "overdose" with the ibuprofen. My doctor has scheduled another blood work screening in two weeks. Will my liver enzymes decrease in this amount of time?

The Advil had 200 mg of ibuprofen. Later on I got cramps so at around four I took two midol extra strength. Each pill had 500 mg of acetominophen. Then I began getting a massive headache so at 6:45 I took one Tylenol extra strength tablet which also had 500 mg of acetominophen. Now I am worried because I took a little bit too much acetominophen

That being said, when giving our little one's any medication including over the counter, it is extremely important to stick strictly to dosing instructions. I have contacted the hospital back home and was told to stop taking in the medication I have been using so far and immediately switch to Ibuprofen, so that I'll be able to avoid an overdose.
Ibuprofen, in high amounts for years, will cause ulcers and kidney failure. Three years of that much ibuprofen is enough to cause fatal kidney failure in some sensitive people.

As another alternative, on your bottle should be a number to call in case of overdose. Although they primarily help humans, they might have guidelines for animals as well.
Chances are the medication will taste terrible to a cat so they wouldn't ingest much. But toxicity works so different for those critters that it is definitely worth a phone call at least.
Just added seroquel at 25 mg and ritalin in the afternoons. I was perscribed albuterol sulfate, ibuprofen 600 mg and zomig nasal as needed.

My son (aged 2) has 3 enlarged nodes in his neck, one over 2inch long and pretruding, and one in his groin. He has seen the pedritician and they have said that 2 in his neck and 1 in his groin are all within the normal limits (although the one is larger than a grape?) the one that is longer than two inches she said was larger than normal but felt ok to her. They did a blood count (normal) and test for glandular fever and told me to not worry.
I am just looking for some opinions. I have been doing lots of research in hopes of helping him in the interim year that we are waiting for an appt. and we do have another appt with the ped next week. I have also gotten him into a clinic that is funded by the Autism Alliance for an evaluation by them...although it will not be an official diagnosis it will help sort some things out, I hope.
