She wore a 24 hour heart monitor and our general practioner said it reported over 800 pvcs in that 24 hour period. He prescribed metoprolol tartr 25 mg 2x a day and scheduled her to see a cardiologist next week. I have a few questions... 1) Is this perscription necessary before she is seen by a cardioloigist (I understand it is used to decrease the number of pvc's) 2). What would be considered a dangerouse number of pvc's over a 24 hour period? 3).
Ibuprofen is the one that is hard on your tummy, and is not okay in pregnancy. Tylenol is really bad to overdose on as it affects your liver and you will not notice any problems as it is damaging your liver. Definitely talk to your Dr. and see if there's something they can give you to help.

Check with your doctor about what in the Thomas Recipe you can take with pregnancy and get ready. Get the gatorade and foods you like (easy simple things) in the house. Some will tell you to taper...but you need to remember that a lot of us can't taper. Man, I could not. If you can GREAT. You can talk to your dr. about a plan to do that.
Just hang in there. I would be really careful with the Advil PM. It has benadryl in it, and that can make RLS a lot worse. At least it did for me! Keep posting here. You will get a lot of help! I have been clean over 3 months, and I owe a lot of that to people here! You can do this!
