This list includes wounds, ulcers, skin infections, flu, athlete's foot, some viruses, strep, worms, respiratory ailments, high blood pressure, blood thinning, cancer of the stomach, colic, colds, kidney problems, bladder problems, and ear aches, to name a few. It is believed to cure worms in both people and animals - try giving the dog a clove of garlic daily (but he's not gonna like it). For most internal problems, eating garlic raw is probably the most potent way to take it.
I had kidney cancer and my right kidney was removed in Feb 09. Have been in a clinical trial for 13 months taking targeted chemo to ascertain if the drugs will prevent recurrence or prolong recurrence. CT scans reveal a 4mm stone in my remaining kidney. I also have a high serum creatinine level of 1.99 which means my GFR is also bad. Does a kidney stone (that is in the kidney) have any effect on my creatinine level?
I have had two complete round of bloodwork ($1,600 worth) to ascertain that mine is not due to thyroid or any other medical condition (I have history of calcium oxalate kidney stones, early small melanoma and small finding of thyroid cancer both in '07) and all thank goodness came back 100% normal except for the Vitamin D which was 9 on a ref. range of normal being 32-100.
She had them at 10 yrs old, and now has them again at 16. She has 1 definite 3mm kidney stone in the right kidney, and another possible stone forming in the right kidney. When we went through this before I remember it took a lot of of eliminating other possibilities before it was correctly diagnosed. She also didn't follow the "exact" symptom list. Over the past few days she has started experiencing some of the same symptoms.

Have upper back pain at bra band level. This pain is pretty much constant but some days not as bad as others. At times feels as if it's in the bone but also away from spine sore & more muscular. About 2" above is another spot that seems more isolated right next to the spine and is sore to touch.Thoracic back xray then was "normal" At the time was also having some side pain-never had anxiety but started to fear it may be pancreatic cancer.
Results In eight eligible trials (25 570 patients, 674 cancer deaths), allocation to aspirin reduced death due to cancer (pooled odds ratio [OR] 0·79, 95% CI 0·68—0·92, p=0·003). On analysis of individual patient data, which were available from seven trials (23 535 patients, 657 cancer deaths), benefit was apparent only after 5 years' follow-up (all cancers, hazard ratio [HR] 0·66, 0·50—0·87; gastrointestinal cancers, 0·46, 0·27—0·77; both p=0·003).
A week later, she was driven to get my ultrasounds done, and they didn't see anything abnormal. No kidney stone - but many ovarian cysts in left ovary and one in right ovary. That night she bled quite a bit, and on Monday they figured out the cysts in her left ovary burst, they were no longer there. Right ovary cyst remained. Went back to the doctor three days later, and still had low grade fever, and red blood cells in urine.

Hi. I've been diagnosed about a year ago with kidney stone in the left kidney. It's about 1.3cm I had a surgery to remove a stone in my urinary bladder, about 6 months ago. The urologist is monitoring the kidney stone. However I already had the pain then, but it was dull. And often times when I drink Chanca Piedra, the pain will go away. ( I really thought the stone would be in my right kidney, but it's not) Last week I went to the doc to check the pain in my right side.
they must not take aspirin or nonsteroidal inti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) at any time due to the risk of kidney damage. Common NSAIDS to avoid are Motrin, Ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, and Naprosyn. Any cold medication or decongestants containing pseudoephedrine or other decongestants should be avoided unless your doctor has given permission. Tylenol for headache or pain - not for fever - can be taken not to exceed 1800mg in 24 hrs. Consult with your surgeons office for additional screens.
About 4 weeks ago he was having pain that he thought might be a kidney stone (Which had happened before) They did a urinalyses on him and a kidney ultrasound and everything looked clear. There are no signs of a hernia either. I am just really worried, because every time I put his symptoms on the computer I come up with testicular cancer.
My cousin had this and it was cancer. He better see a doctor as soon as possible.

i mean we don't know what's in a lot of things we eat now a day... or medications we take.. melamine in pet food products = kidney failure... why are there so many kidney dialysis centers.... in the u.s.?
That of course is quite common in the surgical management of ovarian cancer. Ovarian cancer (I am assuming she has experienced ovarian cancer)very commonly can spread to involve areas of the intestine - both small and large intestine. It is important to remove as much of the cancer as possible by surgery and that sometimes means that a person will have a bowel resection as part of their primary surgical therapy. So it sounds like she had a good surgery.
My dad takes oxycodone 15mg/ oxycontin 20mg/ marinol 2.5mg/ and ibuprofen 220mg Marinol is synthetic marijuana and it is doing wonders for his back pain. But if this is the case then shouldn't he theoretically be able to go off of the oxy's? I am so confused. Doctors don't tell me about liver or kidney protection and that is one of my first concerns.
Hi, if it was bone cancer, it would have been picked up by CT and MRI studies, so please don't worry. Considering the different locations of pain described, the pain could be due to compression of a nerve, the sciatic nerve. The resulting symptoms are often referred as sciatica. The pain can vary in severity and can be accompanied by numbness. This occurs due to spinal disc herniation (slipped disc), spinal stenosis (narrowing of spinal canal) or due to the piriformis syndrome.
I take my shots on tuesdays so its almost time for another one. Ive been eating ibuprofen and it doesnt bring it down to much. I feel horrible I look white as a ghost. My back hurts, tummy, hips, thighs and head. Im going to call doc first thing in the morning but wanted to know if anyone had suggestions to bring down my fever.
On November 26th of this year I had finally had enough of the pain and suffering so I tried to take my own life by overdosing on Neurontin, Tylenol and Ibuprofen......it was all I had at the time. Unfortunately for me my sister came in and found all the empty bottles and called the ambulance! For those of you out there that would doubt the pain and tend to judge me for my failed attempt to kill myself I only have one thing to tell you....
I have done reasearch and it all comes up with some kind of cancer or surgeory needed.. Recently the pain has come up quite frequently and Ive been feeling like **** and had pains all over my body. I got a number of tests done for cancer and other things and everything came back normal. About 3 weeks ago i had some moderate to severe flank pain associated with a fever, chills, headache and a sore throat. That disappear on its own and i did nothing about it. However a week ago the same thing happened so i decided to go back to the doctor.
Now all of a sudden I have a newer doctor, and upon seeing an AST reading of 55 he freaked out and ordered an ultrasound and all sorts of other blood tests, including AFP, which tests for liver CANCER!! What's the deal? Should I be worried? I assured him that I'm a regular blood donor and would have been notified of a positive Hepatitis test (he's insisting on running this test as well).
Similarly, do not use **** quai if taking anti-platelet drugs such as clopidogrel (Plavix), and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) or naproxen (Naprosyn, Aleve). **** Quai Side Effects **** quai antibiotics **** quai has been known to increase the photosensitivity of the skin, so those taking the herb should stay out of the sun and protect themselves with sunscreen.
How is your kidney function? What's your GFR number (glomerular filtration rate)? Because those with kidney disease have a higher risk of tooth decay I believe, so if you haven't gotten that checked out, I hope you will. I'm sorry you are having major problems with your teeth at such a young age. A grandparent of mine had to have teeth removed I believe at a fairly young age owing to having had scarlet fever. Poor posture can affect the TMJ situation.
My mother's kidneys started shutting down about a year ago due to what the doctors think is an allergy to ibuprofen. She was on the verge of needing a kidney transplant. The doctors put her on Prednisone, though, and now her kidney function is almost 100% again! It's all about treatment. Just thank God that we've got that! Best of luck you. I am sure you have a long life ahead of you.
A went to my doctor and many blood work was done. The tests confirm that my liver and kidney functions are normal, blood count is normal and beyond slight protein traces my urine is normal.Everyone of them normal. Liver Scan, CT scan, Kidney tested for cancer was negative. So the Doctor send me to Baltimore University to see the Doctor that was his teacher. He did all exams again and nothing was found. So he prescribed Ciprofloxacin HCL 500 MG TAAPO.
My Dr seems to think that I am stable but my levels are not normal and I am afraid to death that the nightmare of hep C and cancer or kidney failure is slowly becoming a reality. What do I do next. I dont want to wait until things get worse and GOD knows as long as I am on these meds and still have hep C they will.
Often work-ups for both turn out fruitless, but if they are unrevealing, then they do rule out major issues such as cancer, stones, significant kidney diseases. Most men find hematospermia quite upsetting but the chances are extremely great that there is nothing wrong. The fact that you had gross hematuria last year and microhematuria now does concern me and does need an expert's evaluation. That you are seeing a urologist is the sensible thing to do at this point.
