I have Hep C. I have had Hep C since 1969. I have chosen not to take the treatment. I am usually healthy though my count is high. Recently I have a fever that doesn't respond to asprin and a sore throat. Is this related to my Hep C or is it just an autumn sore throat/fever?

I usually do intense workouts(Circuit training: high rep weight-lifting with very short breaks, and moderate weights for about an hour, and during evening I do sprints) 5 times a week (I workout two days in a row, a then take a third day off).
Okay, So I didn't workout two days in a row, and on the second day I got a fever (around 100). I took ibuprofen, and it didn't do anything (I still felt like ****).
Temp is not high around 101-102 rectal. He also had diarrhea and short/fast breathing, coughing, clear runny nose. He seems to respond to Tylenol well but the fever just keeps coming back, worse at night. I took him to the doctors once, doc said he had bad cold, but that was almost 5 days ago, and he still has a fever.... do I need to be worried?
The difference here is that he gets a high fever. Chronic Epstein Barr would not cause that high of a fever it is usually a mild fever. Has he started any new medication that he takes only once in a while? Some medications will cause a fever. Also, is he of Mediterranaen origin? There is a periodic fever but usually in children and it is genetic. Sometimes it can come out in adults. But you would see high levels of protein in the urine. There is a treatment for it called Colchicine.
I went to Boston children's hospital to look a little closer at baby because Im high risk and they found a small abnormality , one of the tubes that bypass babys lungs is a little narrow :-( they asked if I ever took ibuprofen and I have a few times , the doctors daid thays what its from so plz don't take it
Nope. Ibuprofen firstly won't help with a cold at all. It only relieves fever, pain, and swelling. Second, ibuprofen shouldn't be used in pregnancy and on the rare occasion that your Dr gives the okay, it is NEVER to be used in the 3rd trimester.

A liver afflicted with Hepatitis C may not be able to metabolize this drug. High doses of acetaminophen can cause liver injury, even to a healthy liver. In limited dosages, a physician will generally only suggest this class of analgesic to a person whose hepatic metabolism is fully functioning.

The doctor gave ibuprofen and vit C tablets. Same night the fever went as high as 105 F. After the first night of such high fever, she has not had any fever but the pain in the rightside of the throat is still there. The node on the right side is also hard but not swollen to the extent that is visible just by looking at it.
I have researched the forum and have found that fever that is one of the initial symptoms of onset of HIV infection lasts at least 3 days.
You have a virus. It will pass. If your fever is high and it's been going on for awhile, see your doctor.
But then i was able to go back to sleep but then i woke in the morning with a high fever of 102°F/38°C and all the same symptoms i was having at night but they got even worse. My mother made me breakfast i couldnt even eat. So i went to the doctors that same day they told i had an infection and gave me ibuprofen, antibiotics, and some type of cough syrup. I took all the medicines and i felt better i was losing my voice as well but it came back when i took the medicine.
s almost an hour and half later and my fever is still staying no higher than 103.6, but has gone no lower than 102.5. I have been unable to fall asleep, despite a cold rag on my forehead, because my head hurts so severely and I am so nauseated. Is this something I should be immediately worried about?
ve read on the internet that clamoxyl may produce rash, and I know that ARS rash always come with some other symptoms like fever or sore throat, but could the ibuprofen have removed the ARS fever, but not the rash?
Could my rash be a symptom of ARS?
What are my odds of have been infected with HIV?

Over the past week I began having a headache. Then, one night, I felt bad, popped the thermometer, and found that I was rocking a 102 fever. For the next 5 days, I started taking feve suppressants as well as herbal medications, however nothing has worked.
oh my god), I developed a fever and sweats on and off all day, and my underarm temperature was 37.3 Celcius. Also massively lost my appetite. This has continued for the last 5 days. It reached a peak last night (night 5) when my underarm temperature went up to 37.5 and I had a severe headache. I've had a dry cough together with this (started 3 days before the fever) and I've been swallowing constantly and dry mouth, and voice weak, but no sore throat.
A temperature of 100 to 101 degrees Farenheit is good for the body because it shows that the body is fighting the infection.
