Avatar m tn Can Kidney pain be a side effect of taking Ibuprofen? I was taking ibuprofen last week consecutively for 3 days (400mg t.i.d) after laser eye surgery. A day or so after starting it I experienced mild pain/discomfort in my left flank that came in waves. When I stopped taking the ibuprofen the flank pain also stopped. The next day I took one more dose - the flank pain started again within an hour, but was gone the next day.

Avatar m tn It has been working great and I am noticing my warts are starting to shrink. The other morning after using my aldara cream overnight I noticed a lump under my skin where I applied some aldara. It is very tender to touch and very noticeable. I was wondering if this is a normal side effect and what I should do to make this go away and if I should keep using aldara on that area while there is a lump. Thank you.

Avatar m tn I have an itchy rash on my butt. He said it was dermatitis. He prescribed an Ibuprofen piconol cream (a Japanese brand that is that). He said to buy gauze from a chemist and to use a gauze to put it on. He did it once and it stayed but the one that I bought and daubed the cream doesn't stay. Falls off very quickly. The question is does using a gauze matter medically( it might be to just protect clothes) for applying this cream? I am putting in on by hand now.

Avatar f tn So in September I started to get REALLY itchy. I assumed I got a bug bite at first but then the itchyness spread to my whole body except for my face/head. So then I thought, maybe an allergy? Small bumps kept showing up on my hands and body filled with clear liquid (sebum, I wanna say?). Especially around my hands and in the webbing of my fingers as well as around my feet. The bumps weren't red. Just normal skin color.
