ibuprofen and xanax together

Can you please tell me if you can take Nexium 40mg. and Zantac 75mg. together or on the same day. My GI doctor has me on Nexium 40mg. and my PCP wants me to take Zantac 75mg. at night before I go to bed. Is it safe, and can I take it with Xanax 1mg. I have GERDS and Barrett's Esophagus. And they both think it mjght be causing these little pinpoint pimples in my mouth, tongue, and throat.

I was put on Zoloft at first and then switched a few years ago to 40mg of Paxil along with 25mg of Xanax daily. I still feel anxiety and depression, however, and am afraid these drugs no longer work or that I have become immune to their effects. Should I be expecting the dosages of these medications to change over time? Is it normal to prescribe these drugs together? I am also on toprol for my blood pressure. A different perspective on these drugs would help. Thank you.

I was just diagnosed with an autoammune disease and don't want to take plaquenil just yet. Doctor said to take celebrex and a muscle relaxer. I have been taking 1 mg of xanax for 3 weeks and before that it was about twice a week as needed. I was having such anxiety and sleep issues rhemy said to take it every day. Now 3 weeks later she wants to try the new coctail of celebrex and muscle relaxer.

Not sure about tylenol...my MD prescribed xanax and told me ibuprofen (motrin) was okay for pain.

i started taking zoloft 100 mg 2 times a day and xanax 1 mg 3 times a day and its making me black to the point i stole something and did not come out of it till i was sitting in a holding sell in hand cuffs what does this mean ?

i have cut back to 2 mg of xanax a day and by next week i can cut down to 1 xanax and the next week be off.........per my dr he is a pshy.A friend told me she thinks thats to much benzos...........so now im scared. I have to get off the xanax.I am pretty drowsy..but my dr said that should pass once my body adjusts.........

Hi! Today I went to the doctor and she gave me darvon for the pain and 800mg ibuprofen but I take xanex 1mg at night form what I read I shouldn't take these two together but do they mean together at the same time or I shouldn't take them together at all? I'm very confused either I don't know where to look or I'm missing the point could someone help me if they know. All replies appreciated!

I have early RA, just got the latest blood work back. My liver and blood count look great but my doc said my kidney function is slightly off. The creatinine is high at 1.09 and the GFR is low at 54. I was occasionally taking ibuprofen but have stopped completely now. I'm also on mtx, folic acid, norco for pain and also xanax. The doc said she wasn't too worried but she wants to watch it. I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same sort of thing.

hi this i defo something no about with my last pregnancy i had severe headaches and i was taking ibuprofen i was taken them all the time but i finally went to the doctors because the pain wouldn't settle and the doctor said DO NOT take ibuprofen just take cocodomal i think thats how you spell it lol.

i have this strong feeling hes going to put me on another benzo like klonpin witch i took them for 12 yrs prior to the xanax...the methadone and xanax been on both of for 5 yrs the same time was put on the methadone with know problems..i take 40 mgs of methadone and avg 3 mgs of xanax aday..this controls the anxietys and panic is the worst..have had it since 1989..i dont get it much.. but when im maina nothing stops that including the xanax....

I have to agree with greenlydia - it would be best to talk to a pharmacist about the interactions. Both Klonopin and Ativan are benzodiazepines, which, I'm sure, you know, but Klonopin is a longer acting one than Ativan, meaning it will take longer before it starts acting. If I were you, I'd ask your psych doc as many questions as possible regarding meds. My mother suffers from bipolar and is on Lamictal, Paxil and Xanax as needed.

I still ahve anxiety, my doctor gave me Celexa which is okay, my question is, is it okay to take Xanax and Celexa together? I used to take Xanax too for panic attacks, and for now I know it will make me feel better. Does anyone know if they can be taken together? I have never been hooked on Xanax at all, so that is not a problem.

Taking Percocet and Xanax together can potentiate respiratory depression and/or sedation. Caution should be used if these 2 medications are prescribed.

Which is a moot point anyway. There is no risk in taking aspirin and Xanax together as long as you follow the dosage instructions.

I slept about five hours last night with the help of Ambien/Xanax/Ibuprofen and a vitamin. I'm drinking so much water and gatorade which is helping IMMENSELY but my appetite is small. All I ate on Saturday was a plain turkey wrap, and saltine crackers....yesterday I ate at lunch some baked chicken. I'm just eating once a day at the moment but its getting better...I'm actually looking forward to a big salad today!! Still very wary about what I eat and keeping my liquid Immodium close.

Did the new med come with a pamflet a desrciption,it should say what meds it interacts with and shouldnt be taken together,you can also try google it.

She has also taken 1 gram of Xanax. Is that safe? Can you take the both together? She is a very good friend of mine and I really just want to make sure she's going to be ok. They're typically low doses, but 2 different pills at the same time. She took the gram of Xanax about 15 minutes ago, I tried to talk her out of it, but being a recovering addict myself, I guess my advice is worthy for her. Please can someone tell me if this combination is ok?
