whenever i take even one 550mg (naproxen) ibuprofen and then drink, my stomach gets tender and bloated and i feel bad. i usually take a maalox or something like that, yet i never throw up from it so i don't know if that's applicable for you. i think it is due to the ibuprofen, but if you're not used to eating spicy foods then it could have disagreed with you, not necessarily meaning food poisoning. you should never drink and take NSAIDs at the same time.
I feel nauseous most of the time and specially after eating. I become very fatigued and find it hard to concentrate and hard to stay awake. I thought that maybe I was dehydrated and began drinking an excess amount of water (four to five 24 oz bottles of water per day) but not feeling any better. Not sure if you have any ideas of what it could be. I have now for the last two days been getting a sever headache in the mid afternoon with no relief from Tylenol or ibuprofen.
Hi, I have a question. Sometimes I casually contemplate suicide--not very seriously, but more as a curiosity. Yesterday I decided to experiment with what it would be like to take a lot of pills. All I had on hand was ibuprofen, so I took 10,000 mg. It wasn't a suicide attempt, but more of a way to satisfy my curiosity about suicide by OD. However, after doing a little research online, some people seem to think that 10,000 mg can be dangerous.
I used ibuprofen pretty often each day for about two weeks for severe pain in my hand and finger joints. I began to have chronic nausea, got off the ibuprofen, started taking Prevacid and Pepcid Complete, then Reglan per doctor's prescription. Bad side effects from Reglan--irritability, dizziness, depression,sleepiness. Got off of it. After about 4 weeks, I still have some nausea and only want to eat starches and sugars. Had gallbladder removed 6 months ago.
I have either a severe sinus infection or mono(will know tomorrow), but the doctor prescribed me BP Poly 650 every 4 to 6 hours, corzall liquid every 4 to 6 hours, lidocaine every 3 hours, and promethazine 25mg at bed time, I broke out in a rash from my prior antibiotic and have to take 2 benadryl until it's gone, and I've been taking ibuprofen to relieve the swelling and help my fever.
ve taken prilosec and ranitidine suspecting reflux with no relief. Ibuprofen does seems to help. I do worry about taking Ibuprofen while I have an upset stomach and also the amount of ibuprofen I need in a day to feel better. If I wanted to feel comfortable all day, for instance, I would probably need about 400mg every few hours, and I wouldn't want to take that much. As an aside, I have never had a test when I was in the throes of a bad attack.
Any other posable food allergies? I get nausea a lot and I found that the best (and easiest thing to get) is Benadryl. You can find it in most drug stores...well all drug stores I think. the active ingreadiant is Diphenhydramine. Its also found in drugs like Ibuprofen PM. Just if you need something to help before you make it to a doctor again.
Hello!!! Congrats! Very exciting!! I am also 8 weeks (+4 days) and my first ultrasound is this Thursday too!! First baby! I have also been getting bad headaches but find it is usually days that I haven't had enough water. Staying well hydrated even through the morning sickness, nausea, and frequent pee is hard, but it helps with so many other annoying symptoms, like headaches and cramps. Good luck on Thursday hun!!!

I have a massive period ache , therefore I took 1100 mg of ibuprofen . At first I had taken 500 mg tablet but it's been an hour and a half and it did not help , so I took an other tablet of ibuprofen of 600 mg .
The pain is gone but I feel very tired , can I be harmed or die out of it ?
Should I ask for help ? Or has anybody been familiar with it ? Please help me , I am a hypochondriac person and I also have OCD and use Prozac .

Is it true you shouldn't take ibuprofen it can harm the baby? I just seen this today while doing research as to this is my first. i have been taking it before I found out I was thinking my period was coming and I've always had bad cramps so I know to start taking it before my period comes to help with the pain. Should I be worried that I've harmed the baby from taking it? I'm 5 weeks BTW.
