The fact the headaches are severe and respond to Excedrin and not the others is some suggestion it could be migraines, but mild ones as you don't report blurry vision or nausea and migraines are really bad headaches.

What, if anything can I take for a headache? I've read far too many mixed reviews. I have advil and ibuprofen here, just don't Wana take anything besides my pre natals, too nerve wracking!

No, do not take Excedrin Tension Headache or Ibuprofen (Advil, Motion) when trying to conceive. Do not take it before, during or after ovulation. During your period may be permissable. Tylenol is OK to take.

I'm a 44 year old woman and I've been taking Excedrin (without aspirin) every day for 15 years now...I've taken up to 8-10 a day at times and then I started taking Excedrin PM every night after my husband passed away 9 years ago. Will this cause serious harm to my liver or kidneys?

I have a history of migraines so I know the feeling of pain and not being able to sleep. Excedrin while pregnant is not good though and neither is ibuprofen. Only tylenol but when I was in the hospital the nurses said I could drink a soda so that's ok. The caffeine REALLY helps. Hope u feel better.

Tylenol and Excedrin TENSION is safe. The other kinds of Excedrin are not. Tylenol does nothing for my headaches so I had to find something else.

I would like to know how much excedrin sinus (aceteminophen 325mg and phenyleprine HCI 5mg) a dehydrated 120 pound female would have to take in order to have it show up in a positive drug screen for MDMA or Ectasy?

Thank you for your advice - maybe I will try Excedrin and see if that works. I think that the headaches that I get are neuropathic in nature - they are unlike any headache I have ever had. Very hard to describe the way they feel - since they are so different. I came to the conclusion that they might be neuropathic because when I was trying to take the Gabapentin, they got better. Now that could be a coincidence, but since I stopped taking the gabapentin, the headaches are back...

Sleep has been pretty good considering the w/d hell. I usually take half an ambien and fall right to sleep. My problem is I wake 5 or 6 hours later with my heart about to jump out of my chest and can't go back to sleep. Not a fast heart beat but just nervousness and dreading that I have to get up and go to work 2 hours later. I've tried aspirin, tylenol, ibuprofen, and just about everything else for this headache but it usually only helps for an hour or two.

I wake up with a headache, and I take 800 mg of ibuprofen with 2-3 cups of coffee. The pain subsides but comes back sometime in the middle of the day or early evening. At that time I take two Excedrin and have another cup of coffee. My doctor told me that the only over-the counter medication I can take while pregnant is Tylenol...anything else like ibuprofen, aleve, excedrin, etc. Is bad for the baby. Hope that helps you & your migraine goes away quickly!

I'm am 9weeks today and yesterday I started having the absolute worst migraine I have ever had. It got a little better over night but this morning it got even worse. Im trying not to take any medicine because I know it's not good for the baby. But this is insane. Ny vision even gets blurry with this. I am thinking it could be because of the rapid hormone change. I talked to my ob last night and she said to drink water and lay on my side. I did this and tried to sleep with not much luck.. I didn't sleep well last night. I had cramps off and on but not as often. Then in the morning my hands and feet were swollen and I felt lots of pressure in my pelvis. I figured the pressure was just the baby Ina new position, I'm 25 weeks. So for most of today I've just had the pressure feeling.

Try excedrin - it's one of the stronger OTC pain meds and it helped enormously for my headaches. And the body aches. And I took it in the morning so the caffeine in this med helped to get me going for the day. And I made sure I took it only in the morning so it wouldn't affect my sleep. Might be worth a shot? :) p.s. and i agree with soaddicted, hot baths, and sitting in a dark room also helps alot!

I took a .5mg Xanex for anxiety about 12 hours ago, but now have a killer headache and want to take an Excedrin for it. Will there be any complications or has the Xanex worked it's way out of my system yet? 21 year old male, about 290lb, don't drink, haven't smoked in a year, no recreational drug use.

I still get them ocassionaly but nothing like the first month, so it does get better. Excedrin and a cold rag on my head worked best for me. I hope you get to feeling better.

Two months ago I experienced an overdose on excedrin, clonidine and benadryl and recovered. At the time, I was informed of a potential heart murmur. Lymph nodes have been tender and large for years but one has become hard in the last month. I occasionally have moments where I loose a couple seconds and get startled. I get random, painless muscle spasms quite regularly. I normally have lower blood pressure floating around 120/55.
