ibuprofen and alcohol

I have a very bad migraine which I get often and I have hydrocodone prescribed. I went out last night and drank alcohol, though (I had quite a few drinks!). I finished my last drink around 11:30pm last night and it is currently 4:30 pm right now. Is it safe for me to take a vicoprofen (5-7.5mg hydrocodone 200-325 mg ibuprofen) after this event. It has not yet been 24 hours, but I have eaten a substantial meal today as well as 2 snacks and have been drinking water.

whenever i take even one 550mg (naproxen) ibuprofen and then drink, my stomach gets tender and bloated and i feel bad. i usually take a maalox or something like that, yet i never throw up from it so i don't know if that's applicable for you. i think it is due to the ibuprofen, but if you're not used to eating spicy foods then it could have disagreed with you, not necessarily meaning food poisoning. you should never drink and take NSAIDs at the same time.

Even canned veggies are fine to keep you more balanced. They are cheap and easy to heat in the microwave. Avoid sugary and fatty junk and all alcohol and see how your numbers look next time. There are some people who have a defective liver that can't handle any alcohol at all, unfortunately.

so i usually use a NSAID like Ibuprofen or Pamprin (acetaminophen) once a month for cramps, but I know these are hard on the liver and now that I know i have Hepatitis C is there something else i could take? I menstrual cramps that are unbearable the first few days.

During the first two weeks of detox using alcohol, smoking cigs/joints, coffee and other substances you want to "use" to feel better only make you feel worse with the exception of ibuprofen which helps quite a bit. Your body needs time and slowly things will normalize. Hang in there 4 days is AWESOME!

Similarly, the Midol (cramps and body aches) contains ibuprofen and should not be taken with an additional dose of ibuprofen. t had any pain in the last few days but last night she drank a heavy amount of alcohol. She vomited and there was blood in the vomit, brownish blood. Anyone knows what might all of this mean?

ve been taking it for about six months now and the main difference is I can now walk okay again and get around almost like a normal person. However, if I take Ibuprofen 400-600 mg daily, I get the red palms and smelly urine and disoriented feelings, but it does help a lot with inflammation. I will definitely start a PPI regime as soon as possible. I have also been using Tylenol and not ibuprofen, just the normal dose from the back of the box. I also use 6-8 normal strength tums daily. I am suffering from depression and anxiety. I recently saw my psychiatrist, and he prescribed Effexor (37.5mg a week until I get to 150mg) to treat these conditions. I have been smoking marijuana regularly (daily) for about 5 years now, and it helps me with my lower back pain that I get from an injury that left me with 4 herniated discs, on top of helping with my depression. Obviously it is not helping enough with the depression to be enough, which is why I went to see my psychiatrist.

im a little past 2 weeks clean from opiates and i dont have a car at the moment, soon though, so my girls took me to a club lastnight and was so much fun, keep in mind, i dont like alcohol, i only drink champagne on holidays, lastnight t i had 3 cran and vodkas and 2 shots of homemade honey moonshine.. i was lit up.. anyway i feel bad today.. the web says sprite and water.. plus i just ate a big lunce, i feel a lil better but yeah, never been through this b4.. this is why i never drink.

Hi I have a massive period ache , therefore I took 1100 mg of ibuprofen . At first I had taken 500 mg tablet but it's been an hour and a half and it did not help , so I took an other tablet of ibuprofen of 600 mg . The pain is gone but I feel very tired , can I be harmed or die out of it ? Should I ask for help ? Or has anybody been familiar with it ? I have a infected broke off wisdom tooth during my last pregnancy my face swelled up and I was out of Tylenol so I took a 800 mg ibuprofen. Bad call for me but I was in pain and it was only once and everything turned out fine with baby so I was lucky.

Killer headaches, and never any Tylenol around. Ibuprofen can't be that bad huh? Got to go to work and this headache must go.
