Hysterectomy recovery c section

Common Questions and Answers about Hysterectomy recovery c section

hysterectomy

4268628 tn?1375041176 I've heard about women getting their tubes tied while they have a c-section, but have you ever heard of anyone having a c-section and then getting a hysterectomy? It looks like that's the end result I will end up having. My doc is going to let me have one more pregnancy before doing it though. If we can't get pregnant after 6 months of trying (which won't start until Cadence is closer to 9 months), then she wants us to go in so we can get 'help'.
Avatar f tn Im the same as the lady above ended up with an emergency c-section at just under 33 weeks and although the section was a good experience for me I was unable to have immediate skin to skin contact, its a long recovery period and not forgetting this is major surgery. If I had my way I'd go for a natural birth but unfortunately it was taken out of my hands and in a way I really feel I missed out on those first precious hours of my baby girls life.
Avatar f tn I am scheduled for a c section July 5th and I super nervous. My first child was natural and because this one is breech and has a growth restriction they signed me up for a c section at 37 weeks. How do you cope with a c section being the delivery plan?
Avatar n tn hi, i had a c-section 10 days ago, during which ,the doc found and removed a cyst from my right ovary.he said it was about the size of a large potato. - the thing is , i am in agony still!! - not from the operation, but from the area of the cyst removal.is it normal to be in this much pain, after 10 days? - hope someone can advise.thank you, anna.
Avatar f tn My mom had it done after she had my sisters via c section. I don't remember how her recovery went cus I was young. But I'm pretty sure she managed.
Avatar f tn Iam 25 yrs old n on my 3rd pregnacy. No complications on my previous or on this one so far. I am 24 week's and am scheduled for a c section on jan 2. Question is if c section IS necessary for my 3d delivery. My first delivery was vagina, my second bc she wouldn't come down the dr decided to do a c section. Recovery for me was painful n would like to try a vaginal delivery (vbac) however my dr automatically decided on c section bc I've already had one.
Avatar f tn My first child was a c section and ive never experienced even one contraction. Not sure if im brave enough. Also worried about complications from attempting to have a vbac. Any/all comments are welcome!
Avatar f tn Dripping belly? I had my 1st via c-section and had a very pleasant experience. Almost 34 weeks now with number 2 and will be having another c-section. My stomach and everything went back to normal after about a year. Of course I'm a pretty active person so it could take longer for some people to look and feel normal again depending on what they do everyday.
Avatar f tn s see, there nothing positive of c-section. I had emergency c-section 2 weeks ago. Recovery is a pain in the ***, also because my labor was long like 43 hrs, I end up getting infection. I have never felt so much pain.

Avatar f tn I had an emergancy c-section with my secound and it was pretty quick but right after i saw my baby they put me under only because i keept throwing up and since my stomach kept contracting it was making it difficult for the doc to his job lol but they usually wont do that.
Avatar f tn m looking forward to having my baby but not looking forward to having my 3rd c-section and worst of all the recovery. @VaniDavila my feet have never swollen up.@Silliekid06 thats the worst part is starting to walk again and getting out of bed or off the couch.
Avatar f tn I am onto my third baby and another c section and the recovery gets easier each time. Good luck momma.
Avatar f tn On the back of the little box it even says it helps with recovery from c sections. With my first c section sleeping on my back & sides was always the most comfortable. When getting out of bed I would hold a pillow to my stomach. Just get up slower than usual. & don't do too much twisting & turning motions for the first few weeks you don't want your stitches to burst open. But otherwise try to get up & walk & work yourself up to your normal routine again.
Avatar f tn Personally I was back to 90% normal the next day, 4 days after I was doing major grocery shopping with my husband. We went to Sam's Club, regular grocery store, and a bread discount store one after another. I went in with the mind set that I was going to be up and walking as soon as possible and out of the hospital after 48 hrs. I'm the type that's like ok I had my baby I'm ready to go home an hr later. I have also had 2 c-sections and am going to have a 3rd.
