Just curious if anyone else in this forum after having hysterectomy was having nightmares every night right after the surgery?
I seem to be having VERY vivid, strange, scary, and weird nightmares since having my surgery. It's not just once a night, it's more like two, three times a night. Sometimes I wake up crying and sometimes I wake up screaming and yelling. These are so bad that I am almost afraid to go to sleep at night now.

I am still in pain, during intercourse, as well as everyday cramping, and lower back pain. I talked to doctor and she suggested an abdominal hysterectomy. Should I do this? Will it really help?? I have tried lupron, and had two laprascopies with removal of adhesions as well as countless chocolate cysts. Was told by fertility specialist after last lap that tubes are completly blocked as well as being tangled with my bowels.
I've never been the kind to have nightmares until the last few weeks. I am 16 weeks pregnant first child n I was wondering if anyone else has had nightmares or could tell me if this is normal for pregnancies?

I keep having these horrific nightmares that I am unfit to be a mother meaning I forget to feed the baby or leave it somewhere or forget to change a diaper it's making me really panic!!

Has anyone else experienced quite vivid nightmares? I find myself waking up in a dead panic from nightmares that seem real. Someone is trying to kill me and my family every night. I do not even want to go to sleep. Is this a common thing?
In my first trimester i had bad nightmares as well .. i dont Have them anymore. Thank god. They always felt so real ..

Im 6+1 weeks. Is it normal to have nightmares about miscarrying? I've always heard you dream about your fears but its almost a ritual, every night I fall asleep for about 2 hours then wake up in cold sweats. Every one of the dreams are different but all have the same concept. Any advice??
In the beginning I had nightmares in general. Throughout my pregnancy I dresmt of him coming out a cat or coming too early. One night I had a dream he came at 30 weeks at home and I was standing in my room yelling "I need my baby boy" it was sooo realistic I thought that maybe it was a sign. but it was just silly worries.
Hi all. I'm 19 weeks today & for the last week, I've had at least two nightmares every night. I dont know what is causing them. They're so graphic & I remember every detail. Some of them are horrifying. My partner always comforts me until I wake as apparently I start shouting/breathing heavily. It's just so tiring as I find it so difficult to get back to sleep afterwards & as I work shifts, it really doesn't help.

The same one recurring over and over that I'm asleep in my dream and when I wake up in my dream someone is standing over my bed just staring at me. Numerous times I have woken myself up screaming.
