Avatar f tn I had the very samething I had a hysterectomy in 2000. I had every test out there and had my gallbladder out and still had the very quesey stomach and waking up at night with the anxiety. I had it for 11 months and it went away, I have felt good for over 1 year now. The doctors have no idea what it was I am just glad it is gone it was the worst feeling I have ever had.
1727909 tn?1314845210 I'm having gallbladder pain and symptoms- has anyone gained weight after the surgery? And what is it about GB removal that makes you gain weight?
Avatar f tn On April 13th I had a CT Scan with dye, it showed that my gallbladder was enlarged. On April 17th I had an ultrasound done and it showed a normal gallbladder. Could I have passed a stone in between those dates? I have been suffering with severe pain off and on for over a year. It got worse after I had a hysterectomy in January. The pain is in my upper right side, under ribs, chest pain and pain between shoulder blades. It is definitely not anything to do with my heart.
Avatar m tn I am a 63 yr old female. Have had a hysterectomy in 1992. My gallbladder was removed in 1972. Have felt pressure for the last 4 days.
Avatar f tn 9 cm uteran fibroid and a large gallstone in the neck of the gallbladder. I have numerous symptoms that are listed but these could also relate to gallbladder issues (I understand). I also recently learned that I have high blood pressure (used to be low) and I have been on meds for this for two months and it is still pretty high in the morning. Maternal side of my family has been studied for years for the BRCA gene. My mom and her two sisters all had breast cancer.

18070169 tn?1463175914 I was checked for bladder infection, kidney infection, kidney stones and gallbladder stones - nothing. So, I am wondering if it is caused by my partial hysterectomy. My hormone balances are good (they left my ovaries) and so I don't know if my body is just a little wacked out right now.
Avatar f tn Can you still have menopause 7 years after Hysterectomy. I have a list of symptoms as long as my arm, the main ones being really bad fatigue, vaginal dryness/itching, aching joints, mood swings, sudden tears, hot sweats, headaches, and no energy to name a few - I feel like i´m going mad. I did not really have any symptoms after my operation but as the years have gone on there is definately something happening and it´not nice. Any advice would be appreciated.
1445110 tn?1388209711 I have had so many blood tests lately. Had surgery for a Hysterectomy , thyroidectomy and Gallbladder. Never once did anything show up. 7 months ago I even had a abdominal CT scan which did show fatty liver and some scarring but the results stated it didn't need following up. When my Surgeon took out my Gallbladder he said he has a very hard time getting it out laproscopic. I am sure my mind is just running away with me. Thank you again.
Avatar f tn When I sit, I feel like I have baby feet in my ribs. My hysterectomy only removed my uterus and my left ovary. I kept the right one. So I would be inclined to agree somewhat that what I am experiencing has nothing to do with the surgery except I was fine prior to having it. So I went to my local hospital's convenient care clinic, described how I was feeling. I was not running a fever, or anything but I was sent for a CT scan and a cbc.

Avatar f tn I had my gallbladder removed in 2009. I have been having lower right side back pain since late December 2019 that has become increasingly worse and have also since developed sciatica on the same side. I have been seeing a spine specialist to no avail. In my most recent set of images, I should also mention that, in 2017, I had a total hysterectomy with bilateral slapingo-oophorectomy, we noticed that the clips from my gallbladder surgery are now in my lower right abdomen.
Avatar f tn Hello I had and hysterectomy in Jan 2011 and on July 5th I had my gallbladder removed. For my gallbladder prior to the removal I went to a website the ER provider directed me to and I'll share with you: Gallbladderattack.com. This website has practicle wisdom and recipies that help. I still have residual nausea, pain in the right shoulder and midback and some days I am constipated. I think the link is hormonal in association with the gallbladder attack.
Avatar f tn I am a 36 year old female and 2 years ago had to have a complete hysterectomy due to some underlying medical conditions. Last year had to have surgery to remove a mass that covered my stomach and also removed my gallbladder. Since my surgery which was a year ago I have gained a lot of weight and decided I should start taking better care of myself. I have been eating great, getting exorcise, going to bed on time etc.
1833724 tn?1318145484 My 10 year old son had a similar problem with his gallbladder. His pain was in his sternum mostly, no show on the gallbladder. They took out his gallbladder almost a month ago and he is now having issues with this liver and pancreas. I regret deeply letting them do the surgery without knowing what caused his pain for sure. He was already having his spleen out and since his gallbladder was not functioning, it seemed like a good time to take it too.

Avatar n tn I have problems with constipation and abdoiminal bloating ever since a hysterectomy almost 3 years ago. I never really feel like I have totally emptied my bowels, even if I've had diarrhea. My stools are very skinny and shaped as if something is squishing them and flattening them, whereas they used to be normal size/shaped. I never have normal bm's anymore. I have to use laxatives frequently causing me to end up with diarrhea for a day then I'm constipated again.
778037 tn?1377986200 Hello. I am 35, female and scheduled to have my gallbladder out on Tuesday. When I had my hysterectomy last year, I was able to go back to work for three weeks post recovery, and then was out for two months due to nutrional issues. My iron bottomed out, my folate was low, my vitamin D dropped due to my body having used its reserves for the surgery and recovery. It has been very hard trying to build my levels, considering I can barely eat with a barely functioning gallbladder (5.
Avatar f tn I've been having a lot of bloating, burning in my upper abdomen... Nausea and back pain I lost 15 lbs in the last 4 months without trying and I wake up sweaty. I've had my gallbladder removed in 2006, a ectopic pregnancy, then a hysterectomy (which they found endometriosis) , gastric bypass (2014)then had pancreatitis a month after that surgery.
Avatar f tn A few years back, five or six, I had my gallbladder removed. I had been experiencing acid reflux, and my doctor said the best option was to remove the entire gallbladder. After a small diet adjustment, I went on my merry way. I had many nights in which I would wake up ill, and would throw up mouthfuls of bile, however, I figured that to be a result of having no gallbladder.
484160 tn?1343397921 s Syndrome and Hypothydoiditis. I also have a hiatal hernia, sludge in my gallbladder and an ovarian cyst. I am having surgery on the 25th, at which time they will repair the hiatal hernia, remove my gallbladder and remove both ovaries. I know this is going to be extremely unpleasant, even disregarding the auto-immune issues, and I want to find out how I can expect they surgical trauma to affect my auto-immune disease(s).
Avatar n tn I am 52 year old female with history of hypertension, hysterectomy, breast reduction. I am very deconditioned as I do not exercise, work in front of a computer for 6-12 hours on many days. I get winded upon any type of exertion, not too severely at this time (of course I avoid exertions).
Avatar f tn I had laproscopic gallbladder surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago. Before the surgery, I had intense and constant pain in my right rib cage that radiated to my back and right shoulder. It was my prayer that after the surgery, this pain would be greatly improved or gone. I have suffered from fibromyalgia for over 15 years. I have never before had any type of surgery or general anesthesia. Unfortunately, I am continuing to experience constant, aching, debilitating pain in my right rib cage post-op.
Avatar f tn s a light at the end of this tunnel. I had an abdominal hysterectomy in 06 due to fibroid tumors, only left ovaries. Then March 08 had my gallbladder removed. So this is number three and hopefuuly the last. I dread waking up after surgery it's always the worst for me. Wish me luck the patholigists find NOTHING abnormal.
1069644 tn?1276928863 Gallbladder question...Have had severe pain in right shoulder blade (between shoulder blades butt more to right) that also goes into my chest since April. Mild gnawing pain under right ribcage with occasional sharper pain but manageable. Went to ER in May thinking heart attack, they ruled out heart attack and pulmonary embolism. Went to Chiropractor who said I had a rib tip out in my back. Months of Chiro visits, very little relief. He suggested I have GB checked.
