If you let it go any longer without taking it to a vet chances are very good you are going to lose your puppy since it will start to have seizures from a combination of dehydration from not drinking and hypoglycemia from a blood sugar crash due to not eating. Very tiny puppies like that must eat several times a day to maintain their blood sugar.

If so I strongly recommend waiting just because puppies require a lot of time and attention and need to be let out a lot to pee at night and newborns need even more attention and if ypur waking to feed the baby and to let the puppy out ypu are going to be even more exhausted. I assume you mean 2lbs., correct? Yorkies only weigh 6-7 lbs to begin with... Sudden intake of more water, excessive hunger, etc. are symptoms of various diseases such as Thyroid Disease, Kidney disease, Cushings, Diabetes, Liver disease, along w/others..... All of these are treatable & easier to control if caught early......Please don't wait......Get your guy in to be checked ASAP. Good luck and let us know what you find out......

I have 2 Yorkies - they had started to sneeze alot but never to the point of nosebleeds . My vet said it was allergies & told my to give them 5cc's ( 1 TSP ) of CHILDRENS Benadryl . U can get a syringe from the pharmacy to administer the liquid . I have had great results ... they hardly sneeze at all anymore . Good luck ! They even like the taste - I get the bubblegum flavor - it's like a treat for them .
