Avatar n tn i Have been having lightheaded, nausea, stomach feels empty, somethimes i fill like im going to faint, lack of sleep whats symptoms are this
Avatar f tn I went to work but left early because I still had nausea and started to feel dizzy. The next day I had two more episodes of watery diarrhea, severe nausea and felt lightheaded and dizzy, I went to my GP and was diagnosed with viral gastroenteritis and given a liter of NS. I started to feel better for 2 days then suddenly had severe nausea and extreme dizziness not vertigo more a lightheaded presyncopal feeling.
Avatar m tn I thought it was low blood sugar too at first but after a couple days passed I realized I have a stomach bug. I have all the symptoms. Dizziness, fever, nausea, diarrhea, weakness, etc. My dad's getting the same symptoms, too, and it IS that time of the year.
Avatar n tn The hypoglycemia episode followed by SEVERE leg cramps and then nausea concerns me. I have hypoglycemia episodes once or twice a week but do try and control the with diet and excercise. Sometimes I really do not know why they come, yesterday was one of those instances. I have NEVER had any sort of cramps or nausea following an episode. Is this normal? Common? Something more serious with my blood glucose? Something that will effect my heart if it continues? Please help me find answers.
Avatar f tn My doctor started me on Cholestyramine, which made a big difference as the nausea and discomfort seemed to worsen with diarrhea. If my bowel movements are irregular (in consistency or frequency, I usually go once a day), I also experience nausea that passes after I've gone to the bathroom. My biggest concern is my almost constant mild dizziness. I never had anything like this prior to the gallbladder removal.
Avatar n tn I am dizzy and nausea after eating what is it, I have had my blood sugar tested several times at the clinic and all come back normal, a few years ago a doctor had me get MRI of brain done and it was fine but still no answers. I can go months with out a dizzy spell and all of a sudden have them all the time. Any comments or suggestions would be helpfull. Thanks in advance.
Avatar n tn Several months ago, reports published that many post bypass Sx people have benign pancreatic tumors causing hypoglycemia. Seems, though, no one yet sure if those tumors should be removed -- it corrects hyppoglycemia, but no one knows how long it will be before more grow. My doctors feel it best to try to treat the unstable insulin, but the endocrinologist admits he is going through uncharted territory and merely "guessing" what to do. I was put on Metformin (Glucophage) 500 mg.
Avatar n tn Nausea is a symptom that many people experience when glucose levels fall too low -- I have experienced this one when hypoglycemic on occasion, and many people who write in to us with hypoglycemia mention nausea. The previous posting seems to be indicating that your symptoms may also be of diabetes, but this is not really the case.
Avatar f tn I have a follow up appointment with my doctor tomorrow question is is this something that I would have to take medication for regularly while pregnant. I already feel I'm taking too much medication now antibiotics for tooth infection plus tylenol #3 something for nausea prenatal vitamins and now this hypoglycemia. through all this I'm just praying that my baby is healthy.
1204020 tn?1493698890 Hi past 4months now , ive had this dizziness nausea, i am so sick of it... My GP at first said Laybrythitis..Then i tried BP meds, Atetenol Beta blocker, yuk..i still get the dizziness, so it's nothing to to do with BP, although my BP is high. But i have this nitty gritty feeling something is causing BP to go higher...... Can depression do that? anxiety?, Raise your bp to high levels daily???.........
Avatar n tn my daughter is a 20 year old healthy college student who is experiencing dizziness with very mild blurred vision. It is worst in the morning. she has no nausea or ringing in the ears or spinning sensation at all. her blood pressure is normal. we put her through the ringer about 3 years ago for the same problem and the best anyone could come up with was low o2. which at time was reasonable because she was using a space heater in her bedroom without any ventilation.
Avatar f tn Just wait till you want to go poop but can't!
Avatar f tn t changed, I am a vegan (vegan for almost a year, vegetarian for 15 years). I am tired everyday for the past couple weeks, random waves of nausea daily, dizziness, headaches behind my eye. I do not have health insurance so I am wondering what it would be so I can at least narrow it down whenever I do get a chance to see a doctor or to know if I need to see a doc asap. Sometimes I get sharp gas pains and diarrhea, especially after eating.
Avatar n tn In the past I have been told I have Reactive Hypoglycemia because I get nausea if I do not eat every 3 or 4 hours and I get headaches, sweating, dizziness, etc. that goes away if I eat. I recently moved and am having trouble finding a doctor because all of the doctors I have seen so far say it is normal for people to have nausea when they wake up. My fasting insulin results are 5 uIU/mL. My glucose numbers peak in 45 minutes at 120 mg/dL and then drop although they rarely go below 65 mg/dL.
Avatar n tn Nausea and dizziness can both be symptoms of low blood sugar, or, as the previous poster noted, high sugar levels. If your glucose levels are running too high, usually the person shows the typical symptoms of unusual thirst and fatigue. If low, dizziness, inability to concentrate, headaches, yawning for no reason, shaking hands, irritability or depression, sleepiness, or a dry mouth or eyes can be present.
Avatar f tn Barb - No diarrhea is not the only symptom. I'm also heat intolerant (a surprise for someone who always liked a lot of blankets on the bed to suddenly want to want to sleep with little to none!), sweaty, experiencing fine tremors in my hands, and occasionally shaky all over, and have a fast heart rate for which I'm taking propanolol. OH, and I'm eating everything in site, but not gaining weight.
Avatar f tn Chronic dizziness, fatigue, lightheadeness, nausea, extreme belching(sometimes hundreds of times a day), diagnosed last year with a rare form of hypoglycemia.. Reactive Hypoglycemia. I suffer random spells of tachycardia, & chest discomfort. Ive seen 3 cardiologists & had every test minus a heart cath(I tried to get thst, but told NO). Including: 3 stress tests, 5 holters, 3 echos, 5 ekgs & blood work 3 times since 2013. Nothing found other than mild pvcs, & tachycardia.
Avatar m tn Two weeks ago, I was out at a work dinner, and had a terrible “episode” (which is what I’ve been calling them now), where I had a huge unexplained adrenaline surge, quickly followed by nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. We were at a seafood restaurant and had eaten some raw seafood, so I assumed it was food poisoning. I felt really bad for several more days, kept having episodes, etc… I just kept thinking I was getting over food poisoning.
1580703 tn?1651904887 I think I was eating contaminated meat/water in Indonesia. When I arrived there I had migraine, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea for 4 days and they gave me IV cipro but it didn't seem to help. a year later I returned to the US and started to have asthma, sleep apnea, and chronic fatigue for over a year. nothing helps my fatigue, exercise, cpap, symbicort, metformin for my high blood sugar. I have low cortisol too about 4.0 AM.
Avatar f tn part (which is a characteristic as well of Type II diabetes) in people diagnosed with Reactive Hypoglycemia is related to the chemical process that causes the Hypoglycemia (an excess of insulin). My quick search turned up dozens of articles so you should have no problem getting more information. I would also speak more to your doctor. I'm curious about that 166 blood sugar you mentioned as that is high (hyperglycemic) not low (hypoglycemic). Good luck on figuring it all out.
Avatar m tn I am just wanting to know what can cause Dizziness and Nausea? only has happened 3 times in the last 2 or three months!
Avatar f tn Up until 2 years ago I was healthy and active. Now I am sick to the point where I am bedridden and only able to get around for brief periods with the use of a wheelchair. My symptoms include: diarrhea alternating with constipation, abdominal pain, muscle weakness & pain, bone & joint pain, itching, profuse sweating, seizures, tremors, leftsided paralysis that sometimes lasts 5-10 mins.
Avatar n tn I wonder if you are having an epidemic with the following symptoms: diarrhea, nausea or vomiting, fever ... and how to treat if the symptoms persist. Should I go to emergency room?
Avatar f tn These are vague symptoms for hypoglycemia. I would see an Endocrinologist and have some bloodwork done.
