Hello - can thyroid or other hormonal problems causing femur tremors? Can Synthroid or other meds for hypo cause tremors? Thank you.

I've always ate alot more than most girls. but during the past few months or so if i don't eat every couple hours i get sick with hunger pains and feel like i'm going to throw up. if i don't have something with sugar i get weak and shaky like i'm going to pass out. i've asked around and alot of people say it's either thyroid problems or diabetes type 1. i'm just tired of being hungry all the time. what is it?

Certainly hypoglycemia can trigger anxiety and panic, but rarely would it be the sole cause behind it. i was also checked for a uti and low blood sugar and my thyroid and those were all normal. I am currently taking a proton pump inhibitor and it seemed to help a little bit but i still feel horrible. if you have any other ideas of what it could be please let me know. Thank you!

My husband is 40 year's old and has had hypothryoidism and hypoglycemia for several years. He takes one 200MCG tablet of levothroid every day. REcently, he started having severe chest pains. Does anyone get just awful stress/anxiety and hypoglycemia symptoms from your thryoid problem? Or could it be adrenal? I wake up so light headed (I do take 15 mg Dalmane - sometimes 30 mg). But right now if I don't get up in the middle of night and eat something, feels like my blood sugar is off even with numbers in the 70s. I am having a hard time figuring out whether to wait until I see my endo again, or go to my internist.

You have also mentioned of joint pains, hypoglycemia and thyroid problems. Infections have to be ruled out here first. The joint pains may be a focus of the infection. If redness and swelling are noted in the joints then autoimmune disease and viral infections need to be ruled out. Have you been worked up by an internist lately?
