Why was c-phen dm infant drops recalled?

Started out about 5 years ago with 5mg Hydrocodone or Vicodin to the lay person. That addiction began and eventually turned into 7.5mg Hydrocodone, in excess and in excess and in excess until the point I stand today where I'm washing down 60mg of Percocet with my morning coffee just to avoid getting sick. Today, being day 1 clean (as my last Percocet was taken around 4:00PM yesterday), I figured I'd post because this now as this is the eye of the storm as I recall.

Hello. My husband is 10 days clean from hydrocodone. He is taking Naltrexone and is having clean urine tests. But, he has had two of these episodes that look like seizures. I have read that opiate withdrawal will not cause seizures. Has anyone had anything similar to a seizure after quitting hydrocodone "cold turkey"? He was taking about 10 - 14 Norco 10mg pills twice a day.

I am wondering if it is typical to have episodic periods of Waking Paralysis and Hallucinations with Narcolepsy. The emphasis is on episodic. My Dr. wants to do a sleep study, but I don't have insurance, so no deal. I don't have this happen all of the time. It happens out of the blue and sometimes happens for a few days, then goes away. I've gone years between episodes, but it is happening more often in the last couple of years. It's been happening since I was about 20.

I don't know anything about taking clonidine & valium together. I quit hydrocodone cold turkey & had been on it for ~6 years. The dosage/day varies throughout that time. Congratulations on your decision to get clean. The w/d symptoms aren't easy to deal with but if you MAKE yourself get up & take a short walk or do small chores around the house, it does definitely help. Keep posting to this forum.

I am coming off of a mixture of opiates, but mostly tramadol and hydrocodone but with some oxy, roxy and morphine thrown in (my husbands prescriptions). Basically whatever I could get my greedy little hands on. I took 10 mg morphine yesterday morning and the day before that 20 mg of norco. I have went thru withdrawals before and this sensation always accompanies it. Is this normal? Also how long do these type of symptoms last.

Hello, I hope you find relief from the pain. You should not have to suffer with all your going through. I used the patches for about 6 mths at the first half of last year when a chemo I was on caused my fistula great pain. I started out on the lowest patch and worked my way up to the highest patch because nothing would touch the pain. I was also taking Oxy drops (which are immediate relief), oxy in pill form, and ibuprofin (all together at different times).

Back in August 2010, I did a cold turkey w/d from tramadol and hydrocodone. I have had chronic back pain for years, and have been epiduraled, trigger point injected, facet joint injected, x-rayed, MRI'd, chiropractered, acupunctured, etc etc etc - none of which ever resulted in either a solid diagnosis nor pain relief. The meds were a last line resort. I have been on them for a few years.

i had one thursday and she put sticker on my moles but for got to put one on the scare where i had a biospy done 15 years ago, now i get a recall could it be from that.

I would like suggesting having a recall sticky thread in the pregnancy and maternal & child forums. One of the forum regulars in Pregnancy 18-35 posted a recall about a crib, I would have never heard about the recall if it wasn't for her. Not every parent has a source of information to get recalled items, and I think it would help a lot of new parents or parents in general if we could have a sticky thread for rcalled infant and children products.

I heard on the morning news that there will be a world wide recall of Toyota Prius 2010 models. Im wondering how much money they have? Cause they are gonna lose tons of it. And it will be interesting to see what happens to their good name on the other end of this. Do you have one? In light of what has happened would you buy another, or for first time buyers is this enuff to turn you away from Toyota altogether.
