I am an abuser - recretional use. I got off hydrocodone rather easy. Tramadol detox is MUCH harder for me, so I am tapering off. Believe me, I'd much rather go cold turkey, but I can't, at this time, stop my life and take two or three weeks off work to detox. I was on a huge dose though - up to 18 pills a day. i am addicted to hydrocodone. ive been taking them for 3yrs. the last 7 months about 10 pills a day. 10/650 or 10/325. i stopped a couple of weeks ago. my dr. put me on suboxone. my question is: ive seen alot of stories about addiction, like i said i was taking 10 pills a day, which i thought was alot, and maybe. but some people on here were to 30 and 40 pills a day. i havent seen a post where people talk about the damage the pills have caused their liver or kidneys.

how often should you have your liver and kidney function tested when taking hydrocodone for an extended period of time( 3 years). ER nurses and doctors are trainned to see signs of drug overdose. If they suspect overdose they will get you the help you need. Panic attacks will not have same symptoms. So I agree with everything that hadenough123. It has been a while for me also since I worked ER.

How much are you taking a day? Tapering will help ease the wd's. Do you have anyone that can hold your pills for you? As for the Waismann Method, really do your homework on this. There are some problems associated with this.

Does anyone know how much tylenol intake will cause liver damage. I ask this as have read a few help posts and some people are taking 20 norcos a day which is 10mg of opiate and 325 mg of tylenol. I was doing some math and taking 20 a day adds up to almost 1/4 ounce of tylenol a day, or 1/2 lb a month and a whopping 6 lbs a year!!!
