Can anyone tell me if their are any side effects from taking Levothyroxine,i am on ...50 MICROGRAMS, per day,,,18mths ago i started with Excema,,i also have a cough now and then sometimes i wake up at night coughing ,,I am also taken 5MG Ramipril per day ............Could it be the Ramipril ?????

I looked at a couple of websites for paxil side effects and didn't see hypertension listed on any of them. Before discontinuing any medication you should check with your doctor but it's my understanding that diuretics are not meds that need to be tapered or have a rebound effect if stopped at any time.

Crestor is to control cholesterol, have more offen side effects but doses of 10 mg are the lowest , and side effects can be abdominal pain (not chest). So is better to talk to the doctor about this side effects. She is very well medicated but allergic reactions can happen. TALK TO TE DOCTOR is all I can tell.

I have taken prednisone many other times, with no adverse side effects. I went to the doctor yesterday with the following symptomps; even though I knew that I was getting enough air, I felt that I could not get a good breath and my throat felt very tight and jaw just clenched open while I was gasping for breath. I'm presently on atenolol 40 mg (along with hydrochlorothiazide) once daily. I will be transitioning to propanolol 20 mg (and hydrochlorothiazide) twice daily soon - my doctor wants me to transition by taking propanolol - 1/2 of 20 mg twice a day for one week and then the full 20 mg twice daily. any cuts or scratches on my feet or legs seem to become worse and more itchy and irritated as days go by-i have made every attempt to be careful while doing yard work-a nasty throaty cough seems to have developed.unknown if its related to the side effects--doing a search for each side effect related to doxil turns up numerous possibilities.and yes i know the alternative is far worse and even fatal -so what can one do but wait be grateful ? thank you and my best to everyone.

Most of my side effects are gone, but I still have a few. I feel great,even with the few side effects I have left. What I noticed was they lessened in intensity as the days went by. Then at some point I would realize a certain side effect was gone. Then another and another. They just keep disappearing, but not all at once, and it is gradual. At least that is what I found. I also found that it is a little uneven, just like they are while on treatment.

He is on formuterol fumarate 12 mcg, paratropium bromide .5, hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg, simvastatin 10 mg, citalopram hydrobeomide 10 mg, losactan 100 mg, metoprolol tactcate 25 mg. carbamaze 200 mg. 2 X per day. lpratropium (2 sprays 4C perday), funisolade (2 sprays daily), asmanex twisthslor (1 puff daily), trazodone 50 mg as needed, Hydrocodone 5/500 as needed for pain, ranitidine 150 as needed, chlorphenramine 4 mg as needed.

Haven't started the new medication yet. I read the info sheet and it said "this medication may cause vision loss or other unwanted side effects" although most of the common vision problems and eye pain may be temporary and would be reversed if stopping the medication was what I was told. Further research says HCTZ may be associated with severe eye conditions that may lead to permanent impairment such as glaucoma etc, although I don't know how common that is.

Thanks for your reply. There are so many side effects from so many of the drugs that I wondered if the cough could be one of them. I guess it is just a coincidence. Have you been seizure free since you are on dilantin? His seizures were so violent (he broke a bone in his back caused by the seizure) that it really scares me. He has been fine now but I am the one listening to every noise and not being able to relax.

Now previously, in the past I had once been put on Furosemide. I had a bad reaction to it. I had some of the side effects listed under dangerous side effects and had to stop taking it. So I reminded my doctor of that and he put me on Hydrochlorothiazide. I took this for one day and was extremely sick the whole day. My mother just had her 1st shot of Lucentis. She has a small leak. She is also on Glaucoma eye drops. She is experiencing extreme fatigue and she said her thoughts/memory seem fuzzy. I’ve had the most horrible side effects. I already suffer with really bad acid reflux (diagnosed as IBS co they couldn’t find anything else). Well this drug gave me acid to die for – pains in the neck, back, stomach under my ribs; I thought I was having a heart attack!! The acid is so bad at the moment it is making me cough when it hits my throat and the pain – well – and its been 36 hours since I took a tablet. For goodness sake I only took 10 mg and only managed that for 2 days!!!
