Avatar m tn Because you are asking about hyaluronic acid, and because of the recent addition of GAG's to pharmacy shelves, I think it's important to address a few points about the uses of these compounds therapeutically. On the up side, hyaluronic acid is the same from whatever source it is isolated, and it is so common in the body that it can be used as a hypoallergenic surgical material for reconstructing and building up tissues that are lost.
Avatar m tn Could it cause vision problems, I have seen that the main ingredient of restylane is Hyaluronic acid, I have found a topical cream that is 75% hyaluronic acid, I know this wont work as well but do you think this is an option or not even worth spending hte money on the cream. Any comments or experiences would be great.
Avatar n tn I have tried Olay regenerist, ROC and Garnier Nutritionist and currently seen ad for Hydroxatone that contains matrixly 3000, argireline and hyaluronic acid and is there anything you can recommend I use that can help minimize the wrinkles while adding collagen and elasticity to my skin. I am tired of products that offer a lot but delivers nothing. I want a product I can stick to. SO PLEASE what would you recommend I buy and how should I use it.

1386655 tn?1452097056 In a nutshell it is what you feel comfortable with. For me, I only have one cup of coffee a day to cut back on my caffenine intake. I also tried to get more sleep and to try and eat better. I did avoid skin care products that had salicylic acid and I didn't dye my hair once I was into the 2ww. I would make sure I got a dye job as close to the start of af as I could if I needed it. When I was pg, I didn't get a dye job until I was out of my first trimester.
948202 tn?1245941816 It has hyaluronic acid in the form of a serum. Also, i use clindamycin phosphate lotion to prevent breakouts during the day. If i add this underneath the clindamycin, will it stop the clindamycin from working? Will the serum cause breakouts? It says it is for all skin types. Should i maybe use the hydrating complex after i use the clindamycin? I am 24 yr old female still experiencing some breakouts.
Avatar f tn Hello, I went to the doctor to have a filler injected into the eyes dark circles area, the syringe with the gel (hyaluronic acid) was not new, I know because he took it out of a box but the blister was not sealed, I also saw that the gel in the syringe was not completely full, I saw that he took a needle with a cover from the blister, so I think the needle was new, and he placed it on the tip of the syringe with gel, I am worried that the gel (hyaluronic acid) has been contaminated with the bloo

Avatar m tn 1. Several physicians have propose hyaluronic acid or cortisone injections. Which is recommended? 2. One physician offered to perform a chondral transplant, consisting in taking fresh chartilage from my knee and implanting it in the toe, with arthroscopic surgery. Would you recommend it? What is the likelihood of success and the possible complications?
Avatar n tn I'm taking Ameriden Olive Leaf Extract - 6 caps a day, I was instructed to take only this brand. Plus Glucosamine 1500mg 3 X a day and hyaluronic acid (cushions joint) 100mg 3X a day. It'a lot of pills but would rather do that than take drugs with bad side-effects (had really bad reaction to Celebrex). You can go to the website Arthritis Help For Me ******* for more info.
Avatar f tn Bur for deep wrinkles, botox shots, microdermabrasion, dermal fillers such as hyaluronic acid, collagen and Radiesse and laser treatment are used .I would suggest you to discuss about these treatment options with your dermatologist. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar f tn While pregnant do stay away from retinols which are anti aging. They can cause birth defects. But look for something that has hyaluronic acid in it which is a natural chemical our body makes which helps retains moisture by 1000x its weight. So it is super hydrating which will help reduce and prevent wrinkles.
Avatar f tn What are your ladies thoughts on using acne products with salicylic acid? I have read mixed reviews, saying it's safe and isn't safe. I've been using it, it's in my face wash. What have you ladies been told? Or do you have any other treatment recommendations?
Avatar m tn , I was looking into the option of a combined hyaluronic acid/PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injection - about which I'd heard great things - until I realised I didn't want to take the risk after the two half-botched operations I'd had done years ago. So I decided to simply take hyaluronic acid orally on the off-chance, and have had no pain since. Could be a coincidence but it could also be worth a try. Readily available in capsule form from multiple sources.
Avatar n tn Genigel, the new treatment, contains hyaluronic acid - a sub-stance found in the connective tissues of the body. When applied to gums, it provides a sticky film in which new cells and blood vessels can grow." "A week later, the teeth began to firm up. A month later, I could chew on them. The gel has actually made my gums grow back, which is something no amount of brushing or anti-bacterial mouthwashes could ever do.
Avatar f tn I was just reading the reviews and a lot of them are complaining about it being too loud..and motor breaking fast... do you mommies on here have any reviews and/or experiences with them?
Avatar f tn It has worked well for us, and my daughter responds well to their products. I have found that I dont go through all of the wipes they send every month so I have started a little stock pile, but that is ok because they can be used for more then just a diaper change.
Avatar n tn s of Glucosamine, MSM, Omega-3 Fatty Acids (sourced as EPA, DHA), Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid. Using a product with the above nutrients properly dosed to meet your dogs needs according to his body weight along with another natural product called VitaLife has helped many dogs like yours and may be worth consideration. I want to mention that unlike prescription remedies such as Rimadyl that work immediately, natural products in large dogs, initially take a few weeks to "kick-in".
Avatar f tn I ll use weleda baby products. I use weleda myself, after a range of issues with other products (itching, rash, dandruff, ...) and finally found products i'm happy with, and my skin problem-free.
Avatar n tn I just read the reviews of the products. I got for the affordable products because they aren't going to be used more then a few months. But everything I got was under 100 dollars for the product. Had great reviews (more then 100). Other then the car seat and stroller bundle which was a surprise from my husband and he used his credit card reward points. Chicco is a great brand....seems like Graco has a lot of recalls. But that's just from what I've seen.
