I have seen that the main ingredient of restylane is Hyaluronic acid, I have found a topical cream that is 75% hyaluronic acid, I know this wont work as well but do you think this is an option or not even worth spending hte money on the cream.

I have recently been diagnosed with the probability of stage 4 (Hopefully stage 3) for the chondromalacia of the patella of both my knees. My knees have brown spotches on them. The brown spotches are right on the knee cap and down below the knee cap.
I am 53 now and the pain is much worse and in both knees. I am still active, but live with chronic pain in both my knees. Like you, I had an MRI to verify my condition and was told there is no surgery for it and physical therapy and cortisone or hyaluronic gel shots were my options. The 4 months of physical therapy did nothing to help. The cortisone shots did nothing. The HA gel shots have helped a little bit.
Not much a doctor can do - x rays - no treatment except pain meds. You might try getting some MSM and Hyaluronic acid from the health food store. Only thing that can heal cartilage.
Don't horse around like that anymore. If your rib broke just messing around - think what could happen next time!! Take care of yourself. - Also take some vitamins to build your bones and body.
