I have seen that the main ingredient of restylane is Hyaluronic acid, I have found a topical cream that is 75% hyaluronic acid, I know this wont work as well but do you think this is an option or not even worth spending hte money on the cream.

Greetings, This post may be to late to be of benefit but for several years I have benefited from Hyaluronic acid (Synvisc, Hyalgan, Orthovisc) injections into the base of my thumbs (Basal thumb arthritis). Typically, I need injections every 6 to 8 months. Sometimes sooner and once in a while one or the other thumb will not require treatment for twelve months or longer.

A year ago I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis on my left hip during an arthroscopy and most of the joint cartilage is worn out. Take glucosamine tablets regularly. Doctors also said my B12 and D6 were way low.

Hi does your dog have hip dysplasia? My dog was diagnosed with hip dysplasia this last summer and the doctor recomended Glucosamine for my dog Bowzer and it seems to be helping he is walking better and even running around. I also buy the Pedigree dog food which has one where it has glucosamine in it for healthy joints. Ofcourse ask your vet if Glucosamine would be ok for your dog to take because I don't know if hip arthritis and hip dysplasia is the same thing.
You might be talking about hyaluronic acid. That's what comes up in a google search. It is used to aid reduction of inflammation and as a joint lubricant. I used it for horses 20 years ago, and it was the successful use in sport horses that prompted its use in people.
I think whether or not it's helpful depends on too many factors for anyone to advise you over the internet. Ask his doctor if hyaluronic acid will help.

I'm taking Ameriden Olive Leaf Extract - 6 caps a day, I was instructed to take only this brand. Plus Glucosamine 1500mg 3 X a day and hyaluronic acid (cushions joint) 100mg 3X a day. I have had extreme fatigue, headaches, neuralgia, tender abdomen, and hip pain to name a few things for the past several months. I had great relief of the hip pain and neuralgia symptoms after a B12 shot. Also, my endurance was better. My CBC is normal though. So, I have thought that that means B12 anemia isn't a possability.
