Hello, I went to the doctor to have a filler injected into the eyes dark circles area, the syringe with the gel (hyaluronic acid) was not new, I know because he took it out of a box but the blister was not sealed, I also saw that the gel in the syringe was not completely full, I saw that he took a needle with a cover from the blister, so I think the needle was new, and he placed it on the tip of the syringe with gel, I am worried that the gel (hyaluronic acid) has been contaminated with the bloo

I have seen that the main ingredient of restylane is Hyaluronic acid, I have found a topical cream that is 75% hyaluronic acid, I know this wont work as well but do you think this is an option or not even worth spending hte money on the cream.

The newest treatment for age spots is an alpha hydroxy acid gel or beta hydroxy acid gel. Retin-A cream, alpha hydroxyacid peels, and liquid nitrogen therapy are other options.

Like you, I had an MRI to verify my condition and was told there is no surgery for it and physical therapy and cortisone or hyaluronic gel shots were my options. The 4 months of physical therapy did nothing to help. The cortisone shots did nothing. The HA gel shots have helped a little bit. The pain is hardest at night - there is no position to sleep where my knees don’t ache & throb.

You may want to try eye drops with a higher amounts of hyaluronic acid which acts as a lubricant. Here is an article which has some information on brands that have higher amounts of it.
