Avatar f tn While pregnant do stay away from retinols which are anti aging. They can cause birth defects. But look for something that has hyaluronic acid in it which is a natural chemical our body makes which helps retains moisture by 1000x its weight. So it is super hydrating which will help reduce and prevent wrinkles.

Avatar m tn Because you are asking about hyaluronic acid, and because of the recent addition of GAG's to pharmacy shelves, I think it's important to address a few points about the uses of these compounds therapeutically. On the up side, hyaluronic acid is the same from whatever source it is isolated, and it is so common in the body that it can be used as a hypoallergenic surgical material for reconstructing and building up tissues that are lost.

Avatar f tn Hi, I am interested in getting my chicken pox scars. I have had them for well over eight years now. I was considering using excisions to get them removed. I have heard about using lasers and fillers but I don't understand how treatment that is superficial on the skin could repair the scars that run deep into the tissues of the skin. The chicken pox scars are more like depressions or indents in the skin. Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Avatar m tn Apply a medicated cream or gel containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This helps is soaking the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads. If benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer after 10 mins of applying benzoyl peroxide. If the symptoms still persist then please consult a dermatologist and get cysts ruled out.
Avatar n tn Genigel, the new treatment, contains hyaluronic acid - a sub-stance found in the connective tissues of the body. When applied to gums, it provides a sticky film in which new cells and blood vessels can grow." "A week later, the teeth began to firm up. A month later, I could chew on them. The gel has actually made my gums grow back, which is something no amount of brushing or anti-bacterial mouthwashes could ever do.
Avatar m tn ve had my eyes dialated twice and in both cases (one with an optometrist and one with a opthamologist) I was told everything looked fine and that my floaters was due to aging as well. The MD did a very thorough examThe reason I made the connection was that hyaluronic acid seems to be involved in both cases so I was curious if there is a connection. If you don't mind me asking, why would joint inflammation be a cause of concerns for floaters...?
948202 tn?1245941816 It has hyaluronic acid in the form of a serum. Also, i use clindamycin phosphate lotion to prevent breakouts during the day. If i add this underneath the clindamycin, will it stop the clindamycin from working? Will the serum cause breakouts? It says it is for all skin types. Should i maybe use the hydrating complex after i use the clindamycin? I am 24 yr old female still experiencing some breakouts.

Avatar n tn s of Glucosamine, MSM, Omega-3 Fatty Acids (sourced as EPA, DHA), Vitamin C and Hyaluronic acid. Using a product with the above nutrients properly dosed to meet your dogs needs according to his body weight along with another natural product called VitaLife has helped many dogs like yours and may be worth consideration.
