Common Questions and Answers about Hyaluronic acid cream skin

hyaluronic-acid

Avatar m tn Could it cause vision problems, I have seen that the main ingredient of restylane is Hyaluronic acid, I have found a topical cream that is 75% hyaluronic acid, I know this wont work as well but do you think this is an option or not even worth spending hte money on the cream. Any comments or experiences would be great.
Avatar n tn I have tried Olay regenerist, ROC and Garnier Nutritionist and currently seen ad for Hydroxatone that contains matrixly 3000, argireline and hyaluronic acid and is there anything you can recommend I use that can help minimize the wrinkles while adding collagen and elasticity to my skin. I am tired of products that offer a lot but delivers nothing. I want a product I can stick to. SO PLEASE what would you recommend I buy and how should I use it.
Avatar m tn Because you are asking about hyaluronic acid, and because of the recent addition of GAG's to pharmacy shelves, I think it's important to address a few points about the uses of these compounds therapeutically. On the up side, hyaluronic acid is the same from whatever source it is isolated, and it is so common in the body that it can be used as a hypoallergenic surgical material for reconstructing and building up tissues that are lost.
Avatar f tn The newest treatment for age spots is an alpha hydroxy acid gel or beta hydroxy acid gel. Retin-A cream, alpha hydroxyacid peels, and liquid nitrogen therapy are other options. I hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
Avatar n tn The very best over-the-counter preparation that I have found is CeraVe Skin Renewing Cream Serum with Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid. This is available at Amazon. I believe that retinoic acid is the active ingredient. It is painless and works practically overnight. This is also much safer than the corticosteroid preparations. Probably any formulation that contains retinoic acid (i.e., Retin-A or other retinols) and hyaluronic acid will work. CeraVe is simply the first brand that I tried.
Avatar f tn While pregnant do stay away from retinols which are anti aging. They can cause birth defects. But look for something that has hyaluronic acid in it which is a natural chemical our body makes which helps retains moisture by 1000x its weight. So it is super hydrating which will help reduce and prevent wrinkles.
Avatar m tn , I was looking into the option of a combined hyaluronic acid/PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injection - about which I'd heard great things - until I realised I didn't want to take the risk after the two half-botched operations I'd had done years ago. So I decided to simply take hyaluronic acid orally on the off-chance, and have had no pain since. Could be a coincidence but it could also be worth a try. Readily available in capsule form from multiple sources.
Avatar f tn I really wanted to solve this issue so I purchased skin barrier repair cream (Ducray Ictyane HD cream with hydroxydecine) and religiously used it throughout the past 6 months. Thankfully, these past 6 months of rigorous moisturizing have definitely helped, now I can just apply a few pumps of the cream in the morning (and occasionally at night), with some sunblock and my skin looks fine throughout the day, even in very hot weather.
Avatar n tn I had great skin growing up, but recently my skin has been way more difficult to handle. I am a 25 year old female, and about 5 week ago I started getting hard, unpopable bumps on my cheeks and one on my forehead. They were painful and big, and I am still dealing with the scars. They flattened out and are still red, but I thought my skin was getting better and healing. Like I said, I don't get very much acne, so this is new to me.
Avatar f tn Hello, I went to the doctor to have a filler injected into the eyes dark circles area, the syringe with the gel (hyaluronic acid) was not new, I know because he took it out of a box but the blister was not sealed, I also saw that the gel in the syringe was not completely full, I saw that he took a needle with a cover from the blister, so I think the needle was new, and he placed it on the tip of the syringe with gel, I am worried that the gel (hyaluronic acid) has been contaminated with the bloo
948202 tn?1245941816 It has hyaluronic acid in the form of a serum. Also, i use clindamycin phosphate lotion to prevent breakouts during the day. If i add this underneath the clindamycin, will it stop the clindamycin from working? Will the serum cause breakouts? It says it is for all skin types. Should i maybe use the hydrating complex after i use the clindamycin? I am 24 yr old female still experiencing some breakouts.
Avatar n tn A good option is to try an elastin and collagen skin cream, or a firming skin cream. These claim to help make your skin more elastic and firm (opposite of loose) if the loose skin doesn't go away. Or you could try any other elastic skin cream like a hyaluronic acid serum cream if those don't work. You could probably find those online or at a local store like Walmart. Hope this helps!
Avatar m tn Can somebody from the old school on this hep.

Avatar m tn 1. Several physicians have propose hyaluronic acid or cortisone injections. Which is recommended? 2. One physician offered to perform a chondral transplant, consisting in taking fresh chartilage from my knee and implanting it in the toe, with arthroscopic surgery. Would you recommend it? What is the likelihood of success and the possible complications?
Avatar n tn I'm taking Ameriden Olive Leaf Extract - 6 caps a day, I was instructed to take only this brand. Plus Glucosamine 1500mg 3 X a day and hyaluronic acid (cushions joint) 100mg 3X a day. It'a lot of pills but would rather do that than take drugs with bad side-effects (had really bad reaction to Celebrex). You can go to the website Arthritis Help For Me ******* for more info.
Avatar m tn The treatment for post inflammatory hyperpigmentation includes various skin creams like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment. If it still persists then you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion. Post inflammatory hypopigmentation is very difficult to treat but sometimes it goes away on its own after exposure to the sun.
743543 tn?1268763223 [7][8] Another study, though lacking a placebo control, examined a cream (Verum) containing vitamin E, panthenol, hyaluronic acid, elastin and menthol. It was associated with fewer stretch marks during pregnancy versus no treatment.[9] Though cocoa butter is an effective moisturizer, no research studies have shown its ability to either prevent stretchmarks, or to reduce their appearance once a stretch mark has already formed.

1193392 tn?1266969248 I have been taking hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid and some other things like grape seed extract recently with little or no visible results. I suspect I may have a thyroid issue, as I do have quite cold hands and feet, light headedness and a few other issues, but my doctor was sure my thyroid was ok. Since the skin change I have also been losing hair in the normal male pattern, which has been very unpleasant.
Avatar n tn I have tried Mederma, Scar zone, hyaluronic acid with vitamin c, scar guard, kelo cote, cortisone 10, and skin medica. Also using lemon juice, an indian volcano ash mask that is recommended to apply with vinegar (as it is a powder). I have been doing this for five months. I also bought a skin roller 1' with over 250 needles and have done two treatments. I am not really seeing drastic results, minutely at best.
Avatar m tn Im left with a slightly indented mark (5p size) on my face, thats pink, and when you stretch the skin the colour disappears (probably because of the blood flow). But it still goes red when i get hot, thats why i use a concealer over it. When i wake up it seems really flat like skin level, but towards the end of the day it slightly indents (don't know why this is). Has anyone got any suggestions on what i should do?
Avatar m tn Hello, Treatment for any hyperpigmentation involves hydroquinone, azelaic acid, corticosteroids, tretinoin cream and laser treatment. Please discuss these options with your dermatologist before using them. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar f tn At night, repair them with creams formulated from glycolic acid—a must for improving skin texture and tone. If still the symptoms do not improve then please get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist. Fungal infections and eczema have to be ruled out then. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
