Common Questions and Answers about Hyaluronic acid cream home health

hyaluronic-acid

Avatar m tn Could it cause vision problems, I have seen that the main ingredient of restylane is Hyaluronic acid, I have found a topical cream that is 75% hyaluronic acid, I know this wont work as well but do you think this is an option or not even worth spending hte money on the cream. Any comments or experiences would be great.
Avatar m tn Because you are asking about hyaluronic acid, and because of the recent addition of GAG's to pharmacy shelves, I think it's important to address a few points about the uses of these compounds therapeutically. On the up side, hyaluronic acid is the same from whatever source it is isolated, and it is so common in the body that it can be used as a hypoallergenic surgical material for reconstructing and building up tissues that are lost.
Avatar n tn I have tried Olay regenerist, ROC and Garnier Nutritionist and currently seen ad for Hydroxatone that contains matrixly 3000, argireline and hyaluronic acid and is there anything you can recommend I use that can help minimize the wrinkles while adding collagen and elasticity to my skin. I am tired of products that offer a lot but delivers nothing. I want a product I can stick to. SO PLEASE what would you recommend I buy and how should I use it.
Avatar m tn , I was looking into the option of a combined hyaluronic acid/PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injection - about which I'd heard great things - until I realised I didn't want to take the risk after the two half-botched operations I'd had done years ago. So I decided to simply take hyaluronic acid orally on the off-chance, and have had no pain since. Could be a coincidence but it could also be worth a try. Readily available in capsule form from multiple sources.
Avatar f tn Hello, I went to the doctor to have a filler injected into the eyes dark circles area, the syringe with the gel (hyaluronic acid) was not new, I know because he took it out of a box but the blister was not sealed, I also saw that the gel in the syringe was not completely full, I saw that he took a needle with a cover from the blister, so I think the needle was new, and he placed it on the tip of the syringe with gel, I am worried that the gel (hyaluronic acid) has been contaminated with the bloo
Avatar n tn Genigel, the new treatment, contains hyaluronic acid - a sub-stance found in the connective tissues of the body. When applied to gums, it provides a sticky film in which new cells and blood vessels can grow." "A week later, the teeth began to firm up. A month later, I could chew on them. The gel has actually made my gums grow back, which is something no amount of brushing or anti-bacterial mouthwashes could ever do.
Avatar m tn Can somebody from the old school on this hep.
Avatar n tn Not much a doctor can do - x rays - no treatment except pain meds. You might try getting some MSM and Hyaluronic acid from the health food store. Only thing that can heal cartilage. Don't horse around like that anymore. If your rib broke just messing around - think what could happen next time!! Take care of yourself. - Also take some vitamins to build your bones and body. Good health to you...
Avatar f tn The newest treatment for age spots is an alpha hydroxy acid gel or beta hydroxy acid gel. Retin-A cream, alpha hydroxyacid peels, and liquid nitrogen therapy are other options. I hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
Avatar m tn 1. Several physicians have propose hyaluronic acid or cortisone injections. Which is recommended? 2. One physician offered to perform a chondral transplant, consisting in taking fresh chartilage from my knee and implanting it in the toe, with arthroscopic surgery. Would you recommend it? What is the likelihood of success and the possible complications?
Avatar f tn Also hydrate and protect hands and wrists by applying a moisturizing cream. At night, repair them with creams formulated from glycolic acid—a must for improving skin texture and tone. For a more intensive nighttime treatment, apply cream and then cover hands with gloves or socks. If the symptoms worsen or persist then please consult a dermatologist.
Avatar n tn I'm taking Ameriden Olive Leaf Extract - 6 caps a day, I was instructed to take only this brand. Plus Glucosamine 1500mg 3 X a day and hyaluronic acid (cushions joint) 100mg 3X a day. It'a lot of pills but would rather do that than take drugs with bad side-effects (had really bad reaction to Celebrex). You can go to the website Arthritis Help For Me ******* for more info.
Avatar n tn The very best over-the-counter preparation that I have found is CeraVe Skin Renewing Cream Serum with Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid. This is available at Amazon. I believe that retinoic acid is the active ingredient. It is painless and works practically overnight. This is also much safer than the corticosteroid preparations. Probably any formulation that contains retinoic acid (i.e., Retin-A or other retinols) and hyaluronic acid will work. CeraVe is simply the first brand that I tried.
Avatar f tn While pregnant do stay away from retinols which are anti aging. They can cause birth defects. But look for something that has hyaluronic acid in it which is a natural chemical our body makes which helps retains moisture by 1000x its weight. So it is super hydrating which will help reduce and prevent wrinkles.
Avatar m tn It doesn’t seem to be working too well. She has many other health problems, and probably doesn’t have a lot of time left, so we would like to make her as comfortable as possible. She has kidney disease, high BP, and a Thyroid problem, so she is on Benazepral, and Thyrosyn. She hasn’t been eating well, and pain may be part of the problem. But, the Tramadol tends to make her loose her appetite. Is there a med that I could ask my vet about that would be more effective, and help with her appetite?
1139089 tn?1260884301 Ok, so this is my second post, and hopefully I'll get an answer. I tried a home remedy of using apple cider vinegar to remove the small wart on my nose. Unfortunately, I covered too big of an area (good skin near the wart) and the area got greenish yellow in color. It then peeled off, leaving a small hole behind. Here is a picture. Skin appears to have grown back, but I still have the hole. Can this be fixed??
Avatar n tn A good option is to try an elastin and collagen skin cream, or a firming skin cream. These claim to help make your skin more elastic and firm (opposite of loose) if the loose skin doesn't go away. Or you could try any other elastic skin cream like a hyaluronic acid serum cream if those don't work. You could probably find those online or at a local store like Walmart. Hope this helps!
Avatar f tn Please anybody I'm desperate I left my tums at home and I have bad acid reflux and can't go back to sleep is there anything I can eat that will help soothe it I'm so uncomfortable and can't get to a store right now
Avatar m tn You may want to try eye drops with a higher amounts of hyaluronic acid which acts as a lubricant. Here is an article which has some information on brands that have higher amounts of it. https://www.drmikeng.com/new-blog/2020/3/4/comparing-preservative-free-eye-drop-products-in-canada Some put a drop on the contact before putting it in your eye.
Avatar n tn Did not realize you were so young, inexperienced and arrogant. Thanks for doing your best because I am sure that was your best.
Avatar m tn I will definitely ask my rheumatologist and my surgeon about oral anti-inflammation medication. Yes, but supplements I meant fish oil. Also, I have been taking hyaluronic acid as well recently. I never noticed a difference from taking fish oil for 2+ years. Actually... after taking hyaluronic acid for only 2 weeks, I notice a significant difference in how my joints feel as well as my eyes feeling much better; they have a much smoother motility sensation at the back of my eyes.
Avatar n tn I had great skin growing up, but recently my skin has been way more difficult to handle. I am a 25 year old female, and about 5 week ago I started getting hard, unpopable bumps on my cheeks and one on my forehead. They were painful and big, and I am still dealing with the scars. They flattened out and are still red, but I thought my skin was getting better and healing. Like I said, I don't get very much acne, so this is new to me.
