hyaluronic-acid

Avatar m tn Could it cause vision problems, I have seen that the main ingredient of restylane is Hyaluronic acid, I have found a topical cream that is 75% hyaluronic acid, I know this wont work as well but do you think this is an option or not even worth spending hte money on the cream. Any comments or experiences would be great.
Avatar m tn I have been using eucerin on a salylic acid burn on my penis shaft. It has made the skin have a flaky melanin less scab over the wound since I started applying eucerin 2 weeks ago. I keep thinking it will peel off but it has not. Should I continue using the eucerin? The skin looks much more hydrated but I am just confused why eucerin caused a scab to form over my skin?
Avatar m tn Because you are asking about hyaluronic acid, and because of the recent addition of GAG's to pharmacy shelves, I think it's important to address a few points about the uses of these compounds therapeutically. On the up side, hyaluronic acid is the same from whatever source it is isolated, and it is so common in the body that it can be used as a hypoallergenic surgical material for reconstructing and building up tissues that are lost.
Avatar n tn I have tried Olay regenerist, ROC and Garnier Nutritionist and currently seen ad for Hydroxatone that contains matrixly 3000, argireline and hyaluronic acid and is there anything you can recommend I use that can help minimize the wrinkles while adding collagen and elasticity to my skin. I am tired of products that offer a lot but delivers nothing. I want a product I can stick to. SO PLEASE what would you recommend I buy and how should I use it.
Avatar m tn Along with this one can also use a mild keratolytic such as 2-3% salicylic acid ointment or tretinoin cream. Lactic acid, urea, adapalene or tazarotene are also recommended in certain cases. Eucerin plus with AHA helps in exfoliation and moisturization but it is pretty mild. Cerave is just a moisturizer which would be as good as Eucerin. Cetaphil again is a moisturizer with no exfoliation . I would recommend the use of a mild keratolytic as mentioned above.
Avatar m tn s three step acne treatment system to eliminate a recurring whitehead problem on my face. The first product was a salicylic acid foam cleanser, the second was a salicylic toner, and the third was a benzoyl peroxide lotion. (I have used salicylic acid before, so I don't think that was the cause of the reaction.) After two days of use, my skin was extremely dry and my eyes were swollen.
Avatar m tn I have Triamcinolone Eucerin Cream. I need to be able to wash it off my hands. Does anyone know what makes it salulable? What kind of soap?
Avatar m tn , I was looking into the option of a combined hyaluronic acid/PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injection - about which I'd heard great things - until I realised I didn't want to take the risk after the two half-botched operations I'd had done years ago. So I decided to simply take hyaluronic acid orally on the off-chance, and have had no pain since. Could be a coincidence but it could also be worth a try. Readily available in capsule form from multiple sources.
1980069 tn?1328912468 Eucerin is good, the cream, and is usually what the doctor recommends...I have exzema (patches of really dry, cracking skin) and it's always been good for me when it's flaring up. Also Avon's skin-so-soft hand cream, I use it on any little patch even when it's not on my hands.
Avatar f tn Hello, I went to the doctor to have a filler injected into the eyes dark circles area, the syringe with the gel (hyaluronic acid) was not new, I know because he took it out of a box but the blister was not sealed, I also saw that the gel in the syringe was not completely full, I saw that he took a needle with a cover from the blister, so I think the needle was new, and he placed it on the tip of the syringe with gel, I am worried that the gel (hyaluronic acid) has been contaminated with the bloo
1885735 tn?1322375616 What I started doing was taking lukewarm showers instead of hot, using Eucerin calming shower oil and then immediately after the shower lathering on tons and tons of Eucerin calming cream and letting it soak in for 5 minutes before rubbing it in. If you can, wait to put on clothes for a half hour or so until all the cream soaks in (I found that the cream acts as a barrier to the clothes, otherwise as my pants touch my legs the itching starts all over).
Avatar m tn Can somebody from the old school on this hep.
Avatar f tn The newest treatment for age spots is an alpha hydroxy acid gel or beta hydroxy acid gel. Retin-A cream, alpha hydroxyacid peels, and liquid nitrogen therapy are other options. I hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
Avatar m tn 1. Several physicians have propose hyaluronic acid or cortisone injections. Which is recommended? 2. One physician offered to perform a chondral transplant, consisting in taking fresh chartilage from my knee and implanting it in the toe, with arthroscopic surgery. Would you recommend it? What is the likelihood of success and the possible complications?
Avatar f tn The recommendation from Vertex is to use a combination of eucerin and hydrocortisone cream for the two weeks prior to beginning Incivek and to cover all skin areas. They are finding that this reduces, in many cases, the severity of the ensuing rash. My friend, who begins treatment on the 13th of April, was given this protocol to follow.
Avatar n tn I also moisturize a lot. The most effective moisturizer I have used is Eucerin cream. The dermatologist also recommended Aquaphor but I did not have success with that one. They are both over the counter. I also wear gloves when doing dishes, etc. Hope this helps.
6867745 tn?1398948987 Where can I buy the eucerine cream?
Avatar f tn Eucerin is just a lotion, so it's interesting that is what they are having you use. What kind of doctors have you had look at this? Have you gone to a podiatrist?
Avatar n tn I'm taking Ameriden Olive Leaf Extract - 6 caps a day, I was instructed to take only this brand. Plus Glucosamine 1500mg 3 X a day and hyaluronic acid (cushions joint) 100mg 3X a day. It'a lot of pills but would rather do that than take drugs with bad side-effects (had really bad reaction to Celebrex). You can go to the website Arthritis Help For Me ******* for more info.
163305 tn?1333668571 I use Cetaphil cream because I have a problem with fragrance. The lotion is nice, but the cream is great when your skin is really dry. Costco has it pretty reasonably priced.
Avatar n tn The very best over-the-counter preparation that I have found is CeraVe Skin Renewing Cream Serum with Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid. This is available at Amazon. I believe that retinoic acid is the active ingredient. It is painless and works practically overnight. This is also much safer than the corticosteroid preparations. Probably any formulation that contains retinoic acid (i.e., Retin-A or other retinols) and hyaluronic acid will work. CeraVe is simply the first brand that I tried.
8739291 tn?1403198176 I haven't had a flare up in months, but when I do I use eucerin the cream not the lotion and it works wonders for me. Also a aveeno oatmeal bath soothes itching for me but the eucerin cream usually clears it up completely in about a week with consistent use.
Avatar m tn could be exzema. try eucerin cream (lotion). may need to switch to a "free" laundry detergent. "ALL : free and clear" is what we use for my sons' exzema and it has really helped. ask your doc if it doesn't clear up. may need a RX cream.
