The pain when I walk is still there and at times intense. I have two questions: 1. Several physicians have propose hyaluronic acid or cortisone injections. Which is recommended? 2. One physician offered to perform a chondral transplant, consisting in taking fresh chartilage from my knee and implanting it in the toe, with arthroscopic surgery.

I am 38 years old and got infected with hcv 3 years ago , i went through the regular tx and relapsed within 2 weeks of completeing ( geno 1a ), anyway i now await the new treatments that are suppose to come out in the next year or two and will decide then as to what needs to be done . Avatar f tn I asked my oncologist what he thought about resveratrol, grape seed and skin extract and if he felt it's ok for me to take it. I've heard a couple of reports regarding it being helpful in several medical conditions, including cancer. He said he has no problem with my taking it. I bought resveratrol at the Vitamin Shop under the brand name of "Cellular Health Technologies". it has resveratrol from Japanese knotwood extract and grape seed extract.
Avatar n tn I just read somwere that Resveratrol is an ingrediant of red wine.Another ingrediant is extract from green tea and the third one i forgot . Probably sold as RS3.This is probably from about com web site -alternative healing therapy. I have no personal experience of these drugs.
