I had hep c and have cirrhosis my platelet count has been in the 80 to 90 range for several years. Mine actually increased on treatment with harvoni and ribavirin which I think may have been a side effect of the ribavirin which drove my red blood cell count and HGB down so my guess is as a oercentage my platelets appeared to rise due to the decrease in other blood counts. But yeah sudden significant drop I would ask my doctor about that.
