Hello, I went to the doctor to have a filler injected into the eyes dark circles area, the syringe with the gel (hyaluronic acid) was not new, I know because he took it out of a box but the blister was not sealed, I also saw that the gel in the syringe was not completely full, I saw that he took a needle with a cover from the blister, so I think the needle was new, and he placed it on the tip of the syringe with gel, I am worried that the gel (hyaluronic acid) has been contaminated with the bloo

There has been a confusing study which has shown high folic acid may lead to increased breast cancer. However, this is considered by many as a chance finding and folic acid is considered to prevent breast cancer and a essential health supplement. Further studies are required to establish that folic acid is a culprit.
I think till the time there is convincing evidence otherwise, folic acid should be considered a health supplement and taken according to the prescribed dosages.

I have tried Olay regenerist, ROC and Garnier Nutritionist and currently seen ad for Hydroxatone that contains matrixly 3000, argireline and hyaluronic acid and is there anything you can recommend I use that can help minimize the wrinkles while adding collagen and elasticity to my skin. I am tired of products that offer a lot but delivers nothing. I want a product I can stick to. SO PLEASE what would you recommend I buy and how should I use it.
I would like to know how much alcohol (wine in particular) will raise my breast cancer risk . I am a breast cancer survivor on Femara and on weekends I have a couple of drinks while out to dinner or at a party. I an forever feeling "guilty". As it is summer there just seems to be more parties and social events.
This has been treated with ultrasound, condroitin sulphate pills for three months, anti-inflammatory drugs on and off, and an insole. The pain when I walk is still there and at times intense. I have two questions:
1. Several physicians have propose hyaluronic acid or cortisone injections. Which is recommended?
2. One physician offered to perform a chondral transplant, consisting in taking fresh chartilage from my knee and implanting it in the toe, with arthroscopic surgery.
Can high folic acid levels indicate breast cancer? If not, what else could it mean?

My hormones are also all messed up from adrenal problems.
I also have cysts in my breasts for as long as I can remember.
Other docs blew this level off, but I never blow off a level if its wrong. Many docs have blew things off with me because Im young, and things have been wrong. Its become a sad sad world.

While pregnant do stay away from retinols which are anti aging. They can cause birth defects. But look for something that has hyaluronic acid in it which is a natural chemical our body makes which helps retains moisture by 1000x its weight. So it is super hydrating which will help reduce and prevent wrinkles.
Hello Ken thank you so much for your feedback, I will have my follow up on May 16 and will definately mention the ultrasound. I got tested for cancer and leukemia on my labs. Everything was normal except for hematocrit and findings of atypical B cell findings, I haven’t had a follow up with my hematologist but was able to access these results through my laboratory.
After a couple of ACL surgeries over the years due to sports injuries and regular knee pain ever since when exercising, descending stairs etc., I was looking into the option of a combined hyaluronic acid/PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injection - about which I'd heard great things - until I realised I didn't want to take the risk after the two half-botched operations I'd had done years ago. Don't drive yourself crazy looking up stuff online. (I have done that.) Call the American Cancer Society and request booklets for information about breast cancer, breast cancer and diet, alcohol & BC, & they are all free. I did the same thing you did, drinking 2 glasses of beer or wine 5-7 days a week (sometimes more on my days off) thinking it would help prevent heart disease (I have family risk on both sides of the family) and & thinking it reduced stress.
GAGs profile on the cellulose acetate electrophoresis revealed that heparan sulfate (HS), hyaluronic acid (HA) and chondroitin sulfate/dermatan sulfate (CS/DS) were present in liver, spleen and lungs. HS, CS were present in heart, DS/CS was observed in testis.
