At the age of 75 how long will it take to regenerate the cells of a broken bone in a foot?
I have a stinging sensation in my foot, i broke my ankle 3 months eairler and the day before it started i had been walking for a long time. The pain comes when i stand on it and it is on the sole of my foot and i want to know what has caused it and how can i stop it.

He could have a split in the nail (like when a human breaks a nail down into the quick) and it's very painful for him. He could also have something stuck in the pad that is so small that you can't see it. I had a dog that had a minute piece of glass stuck in his pad and he was 3-legged lame until the vet did actual surgery to remove the glass. I wouldn't give it even a few more days. If he is still tender on it tomorrow I would call the bet by tomorrow afternoon.

It probably appears like a strain of one of the ligaments of the foot. A ligament is a thick thread like structure that joins a bone to a bone. It can happen commonly and best treatment is a rest to the foot. You can also put your feet in a tub of warm water 2-3 times in a day and that will help. I think you can wait for 2-3 days and try it out and if it still does not get resolved, you can consult an orthopedic surgeon.

Hi, I had a mammogram Aug 27th which that the small node I have had for years has grown. Two days later I had an ultrasound that shows a hypoechoic structure deep within the chest wall and has a hyperechoic notch to it with an appeappearance of a benign lymph node but does not correlate with the position of the mammogram. Given the findings of this ultrasound and enlargemnt of the density on the mammogram biopsy is recommended. My question is would you take it out completely?

Verrucas are Warts that appear on the foot, that much I know. She might well have an infection and not know about it; because it can take anything up to 20 months to develop.

In my opinion she needs a PCP that will not pooh-who her symptoms. If these are bothersome to her, which they apparently are she needs to have some a diagnostic work up. A caring and concerning physician will do that for your mom. She needs to be assertive and not take maybes or possibly for an answer.
However, my question is, could a laterally herniated disk (without central canal impingement) cause symptoms of claw toes and pes cavus? My foot structure has become worse and worse over the past two years. The right foot has more severe pes cavus/claw toes, but both legs have sciatica symptoms - the disk is herniated both to the left and right. I haven't heard of anyone getting high arches from a herniated disk, does this usually result from a different neurological disorder?

There can be a complicated combination also such as: hormone imbalance causing uneven muscle tension which can cause a functional short leg and eventually an accompanying spinal curvature. Complicated but very possible.
So for now :
1) Anti-inflamitories and maybe muscle relaxant from doctor (depending on severity)
2) Alternate heat to improve circulation followed by ice to cool.
I have this clear skin covered pocket on the ball of my foot it's been there for months we thought it was a wart and we went to the health center to have it frozen which they did well come to find out it was not a wart and it was a human hair caused from me cutting hair for work shoved straight up into my footI have the worst feet in history at least it feels like some days from the arch to the ball of my foot it hurts extremely and is very sensitive to the touch.
