My balance and gate issues (human string puppet) have been very consistent, since that particular issue first started with my big band of 09.
Avatar m tn At the age of 75 how long will it take to regenerate the cells of a broken bone in a foot?
Avatar n tn I had a foot scan at chiro as well, and revealed my right foot is fairly flat. Could all of my problems stem from that or from my hip? It feels like a nerve or tendon or something runs from my shoulder blade area down through the hip and leg. Is that sciatic nerve? I'm at my wit's end with trying to figure this out. I feel like I'll have my whole body scanned by the time this is properly diagnosed. Any ideas what it could be or where I should go from here?
Avatar f tn Is anyone having problems with there feet? I'm 27 weeks and I stand up all day on my feet. I've had problems with them a couple of times. But yesterday it only hurt in the ball of my foot. I had to leave work because it was causing me to walk with a limp.I have swollen feet but only my right foot is giving me a problem. Do you guys know what to do for the pain to stop?
Avatar m tn He could have a split in the nail (like when a human breaks a nail down into the quick) and it's very painful for him. He could also have something stuck in the pad that is so small that you can't see it. I had a dog that had a minute piece of glass stuck in his pad and he was 3-legged lame until the vet did actual surgery to remove the glass. I wouldn't give it even a few more days. If he is still tender on it tomorrow I would call the bet by tomorrow afternoon.
1442701 tn?1286383987 It is harder walking at the end of each day. Today wasn't a good one. The buzzing sensation started when walking this morning & I had to ask someone else to take workers around to show service locations! I was so embarrassed & then one lady had the nerve to ask me if I would qualify for disability! Sheeps wool!!! I was so aggravated! My first MRI showed lesions in the gray matter in 2005. The person reading it said it indicated MS to them. Went to neuro & he said migraines.
Avatar m tn Max Baucus, the Democratic Senate Finance Committee Chairman and a key author of the bill, called the problems “unacceptable” during a hearing at which Health and Human Service Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was grilled on Wednesday. “It has been disappointing to see members of the administration say they didn’t see the problems coming,” he said.
Avatar f tn and was told he had Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. There is nothing you can do for it. It should go away in 5-7 days on its own. If it starts itching which I doubt it will use calamine lotion or Benedryl. She should be fine. If its still there over a week then you should take her to the Dr. I know this because there a very, very few things that cause Blisters on the feet and palms of anyones hands. Good luck. Avatar n tn Verrucas are Warts that appear on the foot, that much I know. The scientific name for the virus is the Human Papilloma Virus which I think comes in about 60 varieties affecting the vaginal, oral and other areas and that it can take several months, since infection, for the verruca to develop, with no visible signs. She might well have an infection and not know about it; because it can take anything up to 20 months to develop.

Avatar m tn Many months ago I started have problems with my right leg. I had a really bad itch almost like bud bites on my outer right shin near my ankle. I would itch these and then after two weeks it all went away. I thought it might be a bird might problem, but no longer got these itchy bite bumps (looked similar to flea bites, but they were not flea bites). After a while I started to get a really bad callus on the ball of my right foot under just the middle toe.

Avatar f tn this pushed my heel (left foot) to the outside of my footm there by causing my arch and foot to colapse. An orthopedic doctor, told me he was going to make three incisions to repair this. However he did not tell me the name of the proceedures, or show me my MRI, or give my diagnosis to me so I can look up exactly what is to be done to me. How should I approach this situation. He also has stated my pain specialist should attend me for post op pain.

Avatar f tn I am sorry you are going through all the foot problems. I searched for almost three years for my answers MRI's, EMG's, x-rays, bone scans, and even went to a pain clinic for nerve blocks none of the specialists I saw had any answers other than nerve pain (one included a well known foot and ankle surgeon from teaching hospital.) I even had two plus years of physical therapy. I also used crutches on and off for two plus years Finally a friend recommended a great chiropractor.
Avatar m tn My little sister is 18, she is 6 foot 2, and weighs about 189 lbs. Two days ago she was sitting on the couch when her left arm went numb and tingly, her face was tingly, and her heart started to beat fast and off and on, she turned pasty white, started to sweat, and couldn’t understand anything that was said to her. This lasted about 20 min, and then off and on all day. Since February this year she has had episodes of this sort, sometimes worse, sometimes better.
Avatar m tn s the public toilet in an office; Normally, I wear shoes, but that day my foot injures--wound from my nail cuts my finger. The wound doesn't pass for a long time; just 1.30hr-2hr. So I walk and use the toilet with my foot in socks -- no shoes at all. The problem is I see many drops of water on the floor; I'm worried it may be the drop of blood, or water contained blood (of the two people who are hiv positive because they use the same toilet as I use.
