Common Questions and Answers about Human foot nerve diagram

Avatar f tn I had surgery performed by a podiatrist to remove the sesamoid bone on the bottom ball area of my left foot. The podiatrist said he removed a nerve during surgery and consequently I have loss of feeling in the ball of my foot going up to my big toe (entire toe) and half of my second toe. The loss of feeling is partial, and the area of the incision scar is hyper-sensitive. Bottom line- bad result I have subsequently changed care to an ortho doctor specializing in the foot.

Avatar m tn s a weak, yet sharp pain especially when i stretch my foot. The pain becomes exponentially pronounced depending on how much i walk/run. Please see diagram regarding where exactly the pain is. Thank you. just got injured while playing basketball, collided into another guy, immediately felt a sharp pain in the sole of my foot, and it's been like that ever since.
Avatar f tn It is impossible to tell what may be going on but it certainly sounds nerve related to me. And I know that the particular nerve may not go into your foot but it is possible to have referred pain. When my SI becomes bad I do experience pain in my foot and toes. No one can explain that but it happens. It may just take awhile for the bruising and swelling of the soft tissues to return to normal. Once that happens your symptoms may disappear or improve.
Avatar n tn Hi, For the last week or so, i get this sudden sharp and pulsating pain in my foot, the inner arch area (left feet). I looked at a foot muscle diagram to identify the area and it looks like the abductor hallucis area where the pain is located. The pain hits suddenly without warning, lasts for 5-10 seconds. Or comes and goes about twice or thrice in a minute.. and then nothing for hours or even days. But its happening once a day at least for the last three days. The occurrence has no pattern.
Avatar f tn There is a pressure point on your foot that can enduce conyractions and things. Learned it in nail tech school. Google it, it should pull up a diagram.
Avatar f tn I don't know, but when I had some extremely sharp, shock-like pains below my ears, I initially attributed them to "sinus" problems because I had no idea what else they could be--at that time I was still assuming that my little "nose headaches" were from sinuses, when I'm sure now the headaches were migraines. (I actually have NEVER had sinus problems.) However, I now think those zapping pains were a small instance of trigeminal neuralgia.
Avatar f tn Please read my story, I'm lost in the dark and confused at whats going on with me. So a year and 5 months I experimented with jelqing. I only did two sessions of jelqing/stretching for about 10 minutes each session, two consecutive days. I'm not sure If I performed the exercise correctly but while doing it I may have experienced mild discomfort but for sure not painful at all.
Avatar m tn At the age of 75 how long will it take to regenerate the cells of a broken bone in a foot?

1071741 tn?1308050700 If your pain is muscle or nerve an EEG (nerve study) may be beneficial. I think they can do a nerve study in that area. It just makes sense to me that if the injection was beneficial your physician is on the right course. In my opinion you should return to him/her and continue with treatment. Good Luck to you.
Avatar f tn Lol ugh, I mean vaginal walls do open just not until baby comes out. Just look at a diagram of a womans vagina and you'll see. it shouldn't make a noticeable difference during sex.
Avatar f tn I have a lump that seems attached to the bone on the top of my foot. (From the diagram I looked up it seems to be on the 2nd cuneiform) it does not move and by that I mean it feels like it is anchored to the bone, it has gotton bigger over the last few days. (No injuries, no trauma). The lump does not hurt but my foot aches and it travels up to my ankle and almost up to my hip.I couldnt sleep last night because of the dull ache and cramps. I have tried to make an appointment with my Dr.
Avatar n tn My sister has just had her stomach moved from her chest to where it should be! A diagram was drawn by the surgeon. Someone suggested it had probably been there since birth! Her symptons were the same as for hatus hernia.
Avatar f tn ve been having chronic pain in the inner, upper corner of my eye socket near the bridge of the nose, no relief with meds. I looked up a nerve diagram and it looks like either the supra-trochlear or the supra-orbital nerve that's causing the pain (or that's the general location anyway). They've been occuring for the past few months and they seem to be getting more frequent and more severe. The pain is alleviated when I apply pressure with my thumb to the area.
Avatar n tn the instuctions will be on the box they come in and a picture diagram but heres what to do. remove the wrapper obviously and[ best way to do it] is relax, stand either feet apart knees slightly bent, insert the tampon with thumb and forefinger inside your vagina and gently push up until comfortable. then push the bottom part plastic tube applicator inside the top part holding now the ridgy bit in the middle that divide the 2.
Avatar f tn However, a pain management doctor gave me a diagram of the L5 and S1 nerve, showing they split off. He also said in spinal fusion, this is more often than not the outcome. I would like your honest opinion, because I don't feel my doctor has been honest with me. Nor did he tell me before the surgery of the endless possiblities of residual pain.
Avatar n tn Whenever I lift my feet, including when I am walking, they hang down heavily and it feels like the Tibia? (I looked at a picture of ankle/foot anatomy and based on the diagram I assume it is the Tibia) and my feet are disconnected. It sort of feels like a bruising pain. I even have trouble rotating both of my feet. Not because of the pain (even though it does hurt) but it is hard to rotate to the front.
Avatar f tn I looked at a diagram of what a vagina should look like versus mine and it was completely different. The clit was in the right spot but I couldn't even see any sign of a urethra, but I thought that was just because it's small. But then just to check while i peed and the pee is coming out of my vagina as it appears.
Avatar n tn I got my diagnosis by accident, I never walk into my Docs office without a diagram very similiar to what we have on this site with the pain tracker.. When I showed my handwritten "pain tracker", she was literally dumbfounded.. She left the room and returned with this massive medical book, she showed me a photos (diagram) of a human frame and where the points were that made you a candidate for fm, I had ALL OF THEM.. So, dont give up and research Gout as well..
Avatar n tn Hello I'm a 17 year old male, I've been having a warm feeling in my lower left leg, mostly in my left foot. I've also had this feeling on my upper left chest as well as in my ears, it feels like that part of my body is being soaked in warm water, my doctor didn't pay much attention to this and was clueless. I'm kind of freaked out at the moment seeing this has been going on for weeks and feels very unnatural, could a blood clot cause this? and any ideas?
Avatar f tn Does anyone know of a diagram I can see illustrating the nerve groups/routes on a human? (I have looked on the internet but couldn't find anything) which shows which parts of the body are on the nerve group of the genital ganglions affected by his hsv2 - you seem to call it the anogentital area?
Avatar f tn Due to the tarsal repair you have lost lot of mass like muscle and soft tissue so the normal anatomy has been changed and for this you have to wear proper shoes. Try not to wear footwear which causes pain and with physiotherapy and exercise you will gain strength and fight the pain . Take care!
