At the age of 75 how long will it take to regenerate the cells of a broken bone in a foot?
Dr., what would squamous cell or basal cell cancer look like on the ball of foot? I have a rough spot that has been there for 30 years (I am 54). I have just lived w/ it without too much trouble all these years, playing tennis etc. File it down occasionally to get it smooth. Now it is more uncomfortable and has changed its appearance from rough to smooth, sort of like a blister with a bump underneath and has become larger (it is still only about a centimeter or so).
Came back with good counts but his morphology was horrible, only 1%. WHAT DO WE DO!!! I just feel like its hopeless. HELP!
He could have a split in the nail (like when a human breaks a nail down into the quick) and it's very painful for him. He could also have something stuck in the pad that is so small that you can't see it. I had a dog that had a minute piece of glass stuck in his pad and he was 3-legged lame until the vet did actual surgery to remove the glass. I wouldn't give it even a few more days. If he is still tender on it tomorrow I would call the bet by tomorrow afternoon.

My husband just had a semen analysis done as part of our infertility workup. The last time he had this test done, which was a year ago, his counts were normal. However this time, his morphology was low. Could you please take a look at these results? We don't have a consultation for a week, and the waiting is killing me.
The concentration = 122.5 x million/ml (Normal is anything >20)
Total progressive = 213.

Squamous atypia often referred to as ASCUS, means it is abnormal cell morphology but of unknown significance. Most of the time this is not an indication of cancer. They usually will test ASCUS samples for human papilloma virus (HPV) to determine if there is any high risk HPV present. So, they will monitor the cervix by another PAP smear to see if it has changed or they may do a colposcopy (which is freeze off or remove) a small amount of tissue on the cervix for a biopsy.
DH has poor morphology (strict): 0% normal, 3% slightly amorphous, & 97% severely amorphous. Before DS (2008), his morphology (WHO) was 24%.
We're TTC#2, and we'll be having our first IUI sometime next week. I have PCOS, and am on Follistim 75IU.
No specific question other than curious of success stories of IUI with poor morphology.

0, Total Count 50 Million, Motility was 77% and Morphology was at a sad 1%... After a number of rounds trying Clomid (due to low testosterone). All it did was regulate the testosterone, Morphology stayed the same. I lost my job in Aug 2009 so we had to put a hault to our journey until this past month. I recently lost about 60lbs and am taking all my vitamins on a schedule. Good thing is my Volume came back at 2.2, Total count was 100 Million, Motility at 50% and Morphology went up to 4%.

I am a 32 yr old female. I have been diagnosed with MS (and one neurologist called it benign MS) since 2000, though the diagnosis was more from excluding other possibilities due to the fact that I have not had many test results that make MS a definitive (i.e. spinal tap was normal, first MRIs were neg for lesions, etc.).

The scientific name for the virus is the Human Papilloma Virus which I think comes in about 60 varieties affecting the vaginal, oral and other areas and that it can take several months, since infection, for the verruca to develop, with no visible signs.
She might well have an infection and not know about it; because it can take anything up to 20 months to develop.
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over a year, so he went in for a Semen Analysis. His Motility and Count results were good. For the Morphology test they say more than 14% is normal, but when he took the test 10% were normal.
Since the Morphology results were a little on the low side, is this cause for concern? Could it greatly effect his fertility and our ability to conceive? Thank you!!
We got my DH's SA back and he has plenty of sperm and okay mobility but his Morphology is really really low. They are saying he needs to go back and do another SA and then make an appointment with a Urologist. No one is telling me what it means and if it's something that can be fixed or what. Does anyone have any answers or been in this situation?
