See your dentist regularly (every 6 months or so)

teeth and mouth and for a hygienist
to remove any build up of plaque.
Have a healthy and balanced diet that includes fresh fruit and vegetables and dairy (milk, cheese) and cut down or cut out fizzy and sugary drinks and refined and processed foods, like chocolates, sweets, cakes, biscuits.
Bad bacteria and fungus love a sugary environment.
Sometimes you can get a fungal infection in the mouth called Thrush.
