Now I can’t sneeze at all and when I feel the urge to sneeze, I will think that “I’m gonna sneeze, I’m gonna sneeze” and then I couldn’t because I kept thinking about it. Now I have headache, ear and eye pain which I think might be due to lack of sneeze. I’m always constantly thinking of not being able to sneeze and I find it hard not to not think about it. If there’s anyone facing the same problem as me please get into contact with me. I want to talk to someone.
Welp decreasing sugary intake is one of the things to do. I would suggest talking to your Dental Hygienist on how to take care of your teeth better. :)

actually I am allergic to dust and plants and after my IUI when i came back home i passed through my garden and then in...i was so worried n tried my level best not to sneeze but just could not control..the kind of pressure u feel in ur lower abdomen when u sneeze makes u wonder whter it will affect ur IUI results...just wanted to share my worry too with u ..though dont know wthere it affects or not...
Don't suppress the cough, but not sure why sneezing is a greater concern than coughing. Both are harmless.

It is very frustrating how long it takes to get answers but it makes you want to celebrate when you finally do know what is going on. I like you had those "brain freeze" pains all the time by the time I really knew something had to be wrong. The Chiari cough headache is a really nasty pain. I could not laugh without pain and that is what made me really search for help. Congrats on getting answers! It is a very long process but at least you are on your way!

it has been more than 15 years that i sneeze about 100 times in the morning when i get up. it started with sneezing n runny nose when i was a teenager now when i am 29 yrs old it has taken a worse shape. At the time of sleeping n mostly in the middle of the night i suddenly feel a bit cold n very heavy mucous runs down my right nostril. it is so heavy that i can't even sniff it in. it makes my whole mouth dry n when not cured it blocks my nose permanently n i can't smell.
I have tried snorting pepper, snuff etc and looking at bright light - no Sneeze, not even a desire to sneeze. I have a number of neuro symptoms, no gag reflex, partial paralysis of throat, difficulty swallowing, Exotropia (eyes constantly tend to cross) along with muscle cramps, pain, weakness and fatigue - all progressive. Neuro says MS but never had a positive MRI.
My question: Is anyone aware of a neuro/muscular disease with one of the signs being the loss/lack of the sneeze reflex?
I often got the same pain at 13 weeks but I realised that because I was bloated and gassy alot and it hurt to sneeze for that reason.

I see MSG in everything, Sugar/glucose/fructose....
