I didnt find any info about KENOLOG injections for CVG so maybe you want to add a link to your source? Im also wondering how noticeable is that scar if i decide to get scalp reduction surgery?
I try to start my day with the Word Jumble in the local paper. I hear that playing an instrument (or learning one) and learning a language are other ways to clear the cobwebs from the attic.
The first few days getting up and down off the bed can be hard, if you have someone pull you straight up and then swing your legs to the side of the bed to stand from a sitting position it's better than twisting off, at least it was for me. When your in the hospital after the surgery, doctors will come and talk to you and tell you things you should remember, I didn't because I was too groggy from the anesthesia, so if you can have someone there to write stuff down it helps.
I called to make the October appointment, since I need to get my hubby to lock into a date. My neuro might not be coming back to the practice at all. I made an October appointment with a neurologist who is on the membership list of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. Below are summaries of my two sets of MRI radiologist reports: Brain Dec 2007 0.3 T MRI (Yes, you read that right 3/10th of a T) Ventricals, sulci & basilar cisterns normal in caliber.
Ask any questions, no question is dumb, and we will be sure to answer it quickly. Be sure to ask your doctor before trying any new treatment for your problem. Most of us on here are just other people interested in helping, we aren’t MD’s so keep that in mind... 4) Be sure to check out the "Health Pages." The link is in the upper right hand corner of your screen. “Health Pages” address topics dealing with dermatology.
The message C28 has the link to where it talks about how you can increase your zinc absorption. It has also been said that you can't absorb zinc without magnesium. About the H2S...Here's the post that I've been spreading around. It does seem to be the same symptoms we are experiencing.
” If you soak in water long enough, protective oils get depleted from your skin. Water can leak in to your skin after awhile. In warm water like in a bathtub or pool, the thick skin on your fingers and toes tends to absorb water and swell. But this swelling doesn’t happen uniformly. Instead, the regions of skin that are most heavily anchored from below will remain lower than the more softened and swollen regions. The result – those temporary wrinkles on your fingers and toes.
These maps will permit you to hike your way out. A compass on board is handy. Know how to use it. Know how to determine North, South, East and West. Hint: In the United States the sun rises where and sets where? Bring a small "fireman's" disposable flashlight for every passenger. Not a bad idea for your purse on a transport aircraft either.
I know the feeling. I am 51 and have recently lost about 25 pounds, but have consisently exercised and taken buku supplements. I have noticed my tricep skin puckering at different angles as well as my thighs. You feel like "this is the thanks I get for watching my weight and taking so many supplements that my stomach is screaming!" Forgive me, but at least on a forum, I can be a "crybaby" rather than put up the good front that I do throughout my real day.
It's comical now to watch the new doctor always look at it and say I need some type of steroid cream, and they never work. The really weird cure came from working in a chemical plant, and I had to dip my hands in a recovery vat (about once per hour) that primarily contained ethylene glycol (anti-freeze without all the extra ingredients). The vat was very cold and somewhat slimy.
One of those doctors suggested I have plastic surgery to remove the excess skin from my eyelid - the very excess that resulted from the inflammation. Even though she claimed she could not help me as there was nothing wrong with me according to her, she still put me through several test and charged my insurance company plenty, and still wanted to make more off me as she scheduled me for a follow-up. Needless to say, I never went back to her office.
You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes. Everything on your face stays its original color. The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to shave your face and neck. You can play with toys all your life. One wallet and one pair of shoes -- one color for all seasons. You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look. You can "do" your nails with a pocket knife. You have freedom of choice concerning growing a mustache.
i am almost positive you'd have to get into a clinical trail to get your hands on one of the hand-held home-use devices... now, i could be wrong, but that was true at least a few years ago, which was the last time i checked... but, you can get the preventative treatment done at any private clinic that offers the service.
What a great thing it has turned out to be. In just one week of use my hands and fingers went from being to sore and tender to button pants, open pop cans, etc. to just about completely healed! As prescribed I apply ointment 2 - 3 times a day and put on a pair of disposable latex gloves. One application is just before bed so I wear gloves all night. The golves force all the ointment to soak into the skin and is also practical because this ointment is very, very greasy.
Well then, I can't exactly shown up in totally covered skin garb because I'd appear as if I was going to a funeral and not a spring outdoor wedding. Or when your sister asks you to come up to her summer house and go out on the boat and get in the hot tub..., I can't do either of those things. Not fun. When I was on the Telaprevir, doctor's advised me to put on a 60+ sunscreen all over my body (that contained zinc) plus, wear the sunscreen clothes on top of that.
I mean there seems to be a whole lot of us with this same symptom and no one knows what is causing it or how to ease it... I think I agree with an earlier blogger that it seems to behavior more like a virus. It is so odd how it appears under the eyes, dry, itchy. I have been going through a divorce and I thought I was crying too much, then rubbing too hard, then maybe it was my makeup or my soap or my shampoo, I have been trying everything, cold compresses, aloe, vaseline, ice packs...
Food allergies are very unlikely. You should take your son to an ophthalmologist Eye MD physician, perhaps a pediatric one if available, for a proper diagnosis and treatment. You can find one at www.aao.org using the Find An Eye MD feature.
So happy to hear from you! Your last shot! Time to celebrate...did you extend? I know you didn't clear early either. I hope and will transfer to the Gish group, but I have to fight my ins. first. So glad you got to go to them. My momma kittie died. We live in the wilderness with coyotes and mtn lions. After the fire they moved outside as the contractors moved in. I miss her so much. I still have trouble getting the others inside. Thanks for asking.
If you do get the same thing be careful not to overdose because the cream can actually change the pigmantation of your skin. AKA the color. Doctors dont know how to prevent it but i am going to see a dermatalagist about it. Thanks for reading :).
If you are already exposing everything BUT the nipple, I dont see what the big deal is about a little or big amount of pigmentation makes? I mean, you have really already seen it all right? I agree with laws on nudity, especially living where I do. The day I saw an old man in his bikini underwear, and the huge woman in a string bikini, I came to realize what the word obscenity stands for. Or just plain GROSS!
( I play with a rubber band around my wrist to occupy my hands when the urge comes.) Keep your hands busy with something else such as a puzzle or knitting. If you bite the inside of your cheeks try eating crunchy snacks when you feel the urge to bite. Reward yourself for making progress with some kind of treat. As you gain more confidence gradually begin to expose your hands, arms, face or legs to others starting with family and friends.
While peek rejuvenates....I have to say that my boss is from Utah and I have an email out to her to see if she has heard anything from that direction. No answer from her, but she is so very sensitive and keeps up to date on this kind of stuff - she kept me abreast during the recent miner tragedy in Utah, and I know she will know if it happened to be in that area.... No luck in ID - so far....
I had a similar problem with my nose...first the right side was really really swollen..went away.. then the left...then went away then my eye..then went away..all that took up about a month out of my life to heal..just when i thought i was out of the woods..i got a zit to the right of my nose..didn't think anything of it and then the zit turned into a cyst and left light scarring under my eye..its gone now..i guess its all a part of getting older :( lol..
I knew it was a sickness but not how it's effects are on the addict. I thank all of you for teaching me how to remove the mote from my eye. Cindi,my sweet girl, it's so hard to live apart from people you love. When we moved to Tennessee, I left my parents and two sisters in Florida. Then my younger sister and her family moved here. My parents moved here. I still have a sister in Florida and a lot of other relatives.
Your body flushes out all the Vitamins and Minerals from your body before absorbing. Now how it causes these white circles under our eyes i can't answer that. But you see a lot of people out there that suffer from the same condition. People i know that don't eat right and drink to many diuretics. So there for i think im on to something. I would like everyone on here to try something for one to two weeks. Lay off tea, caffine, coffee, cokes. All of it.
After shaving, it may help to ex foliate your skin each day, twice a day, to help keep dead skin from blocking new hair from growing. This is no different than when you have a sunburn and you itch to help remove the dead skin. Good luck, and please let me know how it works!!
In the next day or two can everyone check in how they're doing? It's helpful to all of us to see how this is all going. Thanks!
I seem to experience slight pins and needles up my arm to. I suffer terribly from cold hands and feet and a slight drop in temperature makes my hands seize up and hurt (Raynauds sydrome I believe). I do suffer from very heavy periods, I am vegetarian so may sometimes have low iron although I eat a healthy diet. I do bruise very easily to. Maybe this is just old age setting but a few people have mentioned Raynauds now to.
Nothing seems to work to get rid of them or the ich. I guess I iched my other arm so much I got Cellulities from this. I am seeing a Dermatologist next week as my Dr told me there is nothing she can do and I should just live with it and in time it will clear up on its own.
