Is it normal if you stare at your skin in bright light to see extremely fine lines around the mouth area besides the regular laugh lines further u p closer to the cheek. when i smile i get wrinkles around the eye and upper cheek. when i stop smilling i could see traces of those lines. not very obvious no one can see it only from up close. Is it normal to see such lines? or I am examing my skin too closely.
Hi Sami, You may need to look around the lady's cosmetic store and ask what help they have for under the eyes, but you could try aloe vera gel rubbed in twice a day.
But please google bags under the eyes, you find some better useful answers than I can come up with, but some are not cheap, but things like this could come from you being of Asian descent.

It looks like irritant contact dermatitis which is common after using some creams or chemical. The treatments of this condition are application of topical corticosteroids which will reduce the inflammatory process. Topical immunomodulators like pimecrolimus and tacrolimus can be used in severe conditions but should be used under a dermatologist’s guidance. Wash the area with a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil.
The skin on my cheek peeled off nicely, however the skin under my eye looks as if I have more wrinkles now (the skin did not peel off directly under eye but around eyes). Hi, I have used salicylic acid face wash heavily along with Benzoyl Peroxide, my skin type is really sensitive. My under eyes have gonna really red and burt and left me with deep wrinkles when smiling, one of the eyes have completely recovered as it didn't have much deep wrinkles, although the other eye looks really wrinkly and the wrinkles look deep, I am only 21 and my skin was like baby's skin, didn't have any wrinkles before the bp use.
ps -- I was recommended Virgin Coconut Oil from the health-food store, for my dog with itchy skin. (I believe I was supposed to feed it to her.) The jar I got had solidified, and I needed to heat little amounts of it briefly to bring it back to an oil form. That stuff was so tremendously emollient that I've been tempted to try making a little poultice for my feet with it. I'll bet it would feel great.

With my experiences w/my toddler..the RX'd lotions didn't work. However, I have used the Aveeno Oatmeal soak in the tub, the body wash and the lotion...to be honest I actually use the WalMart brand version of Aveeno. It has cleared his spots up really well. Another tihng that my sister in law uses is for hers is the Aquaphor.
I do agree that the omega 3's & flaxseed could help based on what I have read about them.

It's not noticeable but it bothers me. It's been like this for 2 years. The left eyelid (the bigger one) has more "space" than the right one. The left eyelid has little tiny wrinkles (I'm 13) and the left eyelid looks more "out" as in it's puffy. When I blink the left eye lid comes a little slower than the right.
The technical term is cerebral atrophy. As the brain shrinks the skull (obviously) stays the same size and so the fluid spaces around/within the brain get a little larger as the brain shrinks a little. This extra space is what makes the elderly more likely to develop subdural haematomas. If "brain shrinkage" is the only finding then it's nothing to be concerned about.
