If cinnamon is lowering your blood sugar this would explain your symptoms such as hunger, fatigue and low blood pressure. Its a good idea for you to stop taking cinnamon completely and see if you feel better.

Avatar n tn Belly fat is usually caused by eating too many simple carbs, such as white flour and sugar. If not burned quickly it quickly stores as fat, and for most people that fat is stored first in the belly. That's why a big belly is often called a beer belly. Exercise focusing on that area will also help, but your diet is going to be more important, though exercise is important if you want to lose weight.

But it was not that helpful...Blood sugar is always 8.3 mmol/L before meal and 9.5 mmol/L after meal. In 2015: Still use Metformin. Avatar n tn Hello. I'm not a medical professional, just the parent of a kid with diabetes, and I'm a proponent of checking with your doctor if you have concerns. Based upon your scores, though, you are well within the normal range for both tests. 70-99 is normal for fasting, and 70-145 is normal for postprandial. I don't think you need to be worried about lowering your blood sugars, unless your symptoms change.
Avatar n tn My daughter is a soccer player, and she has been advised by her endocrinologist to check her blood sugar prior to exercise as well as during a game. It can be dangerous exercising without knowing what your blood sugar level is. There are blood glucose monitors out there that are free if you purchase the test strips, so if you don't already have one, you should consider getting one. It would be a great tool for you to use. I hope that some of this information helps you in some way.
