Last time I took treatment about half way through my tongue got these little bumps on it an it wasn't pleasant Now after just a week and a half the same bumps are on my tongue, hurts, Burns so bad when I eat. I remember this from last time because I thought to myself people don't even realize what they have until they don't have it. I know sounds weird. Does anyone else have this problem? If so what r u doing for it?
If their is anything I can do to make it go away I would be happy to get any tips...!! This discussion is related to weird bumps on tongue....
My throat has been this way for 6 months now and won't go away. I have also developed bumps on my tongue AFTER treatment. Is this a new infection? Where do I go from here? My doctor is having a tough time helping me. Is there anything at home I can try?
She had what looked like several infected cysts/boils on her lower back but i was too drunk to realize this was not a positive sign. I started to get small whitish gray raised bumps on my inner thighs within a couple weeks that increased in number and have never gone away. The dermatologist diagnosed these as folliculitis and definitely not warts. 42 days after the encounter I experienced prodromal, flu like symptoms with pain and tingling down my left leg, buttocks, thighs and lower back.
So since I can't get them removed I just have to wait for them to go away on their own. So the real issues of this long-winded post are: can genital warts go away on their own? If so, how long does it usually take? Are there any other otc or home remedies that are worth a try? Thanks for your time and answers!
For starters, go to the normal breathing website. It will give you exercises to learn how to breath properly, if you stick with it, till it becomes automatic. Your breathing patterns are likely incorrect, is greatly affecting you. This will help with the anxiety and with physical issues. More next time you post again. Hang in there, it seems tough at first, but it gets better. Take care.
until I poked and prodded to see what was going on back there. I saw one of the bumps, one (white and about pea-sized) on my right tonsil and it bled a little bit. Also, for longer than this has been going on, sometimes little white balls of stuff ( I don't know what) will come up in my saliva. They're about half the size of the balls on push-pins. And, though I'm not sure if it's related or not, I've been feeling sick lately.
not to mention the white layer on the tongue. so last week i went to see her, and ask her to do the biopsy on the area with the irritated tastebuds, but she was more concerned with something under my tongue. she told me "I don't like this". then she asked me if I wanted her to take a biopsy from that too. i told her, yes, let's do altogether. my results will come out this tuesday. I'll keep you guys updated.
It seems worse to not feel your mouth at all! I have 5 more weeks to go. Is there any chance this tongue thing will go away?
It is an awful thing to 'have to put up with' I also have ulcers on the back of my tongue and roof of my mouth, this cannot be normal.
Symptoms yesterday (Tuesday) and full on breakout today! (Wednesday) I just want it to go away...They itch so bad and burn a little. I went to the doctor, and perscribed benedryl and some cortizone cream. Benedryl did not work but I'll let you know about the cream.
( I have felt this sensation before during the last yr or so, but usually during the night) Well the sensation didnt go away so in the evening I went to my GP. On the way there I again got a little startle as I felt my breathing become shallow and a jolt come across my right middle. (the heart is on the left middle if memory serves me correctly) To cut a long story short. My GP didnt think it was anything more than anxiety getting the better of me.
if so u may have some issues from the acid. Thrush u get a pasty white thick film on ur tongue.....and it cracks. Can u try to go to the clinic tonight after ur DH gets home?....or call ur PCP to see what he feels it could be? When did u finish antibiotics?
I too take Prilosec and had started to experience burning tongue problems. Based on the comments on this forum, I started taking a multi-vitamin and 400 mg of folic acid on a daily basis. Within a week, my burning tongue symptoms subsided. Thanks for the advice.
The yogurt helped make the soreness go away. The biotene is just a good alternative to 'spicy' toothpastes and alcohol laden mouthwashes. Also, I try to avoid eating spicy foods. I've noticed that hot peppers really make the soreness flare up. Take care!
By that point, my tongue is bleeding and sore. I never stick out my tongue for pictures or to make a funny face because usually my tongue has white patches all over it from trying to heal. But once the patches form, I pick at those as well. Its a never ending cycle. I agree that I do it more when I am bored and doing something rather mindless.. Reading all these posts I was doing it..
I'm weighing whether or not to go the epipen route and will decide later today depending on how much worse it gets. My angioedema doesn't seem to have a specific cause although I suspect stress has something to do with it. I've had food allergies in the past but after keeping track of my diet and activities there doesn't seem to be a link. The best my allergist can come up with is to treat the symptoms as they occur.
That's all I can come up with as far as tongue cuts go. Tell me more. And if you want to talk to me about HIV I am ok with that too, life is crazy some times but theres no reason to make yourself that way in order to cope.
Eating yogurt and other sources of beneficial bacteria such as cottage cheese also help, as the bacteria help maintain a healthy balance in your body, and makes it harder for the yeast to get away from you. That advice aside, go to your family doctor or gynecologist any time you have a symptom you don't recognize - you need to make sure that someone who is an expert tells you exactly what is going on - they are in the very best position to diagnose and treat whatever it is.
this morning i woke up with bumps on my hands and feet, but i didn't think much of it. i went to work (i teach kids how to swim) and as soon as i put one foot in the pool, it burned so bad! i had no idea what to do, but i pushed through. i came home and now it hurts to walk and touch things (even this keyboard as i'm typing!) i recently discovered some more bumps on my nose, lip, and head. what the heck are these things!? they burn when i leave them alone and they hurt whenever i move.
It is nice to know others have it. It would be nicer if the doctors could make it go away!
About two months ago my tongue started to go numb on the left side, mostly near the back, but it radiates forward and sometimes affects the taste. I'm a 28 male and have seen more GP's than I can count. I have also seen 2 ENTs who scoped my nose and throat, and also gave me a CT. No significant findings for me either. I did notice that when I press my finger between my jaw and mastoid, under my ear I can feel a hard mass, which the Dr.
any light you can shed would be greatly appreicated I should also mention that its been 2 days since I noticed them and they are already starting to go away...
It impossible to get over this notion of having HSV if the symptoms NEVER go away..
I'm not sure, I have never noticed these bumps before but they are very far back and on the tongue. I have to stick my tongue out all the way and hum to see them. Could it just be lingual tonsils?? They are painless.
lol sorry im being so graphic im just like an extremely paranoid person and I don't wanna have to tell my mom hey- i have bumps down there, i need to go to the dr. and her think i may have herpes or something? b/c you kno like whehn someone says they have bumps you think herpes automatically lol or at least i used to.
i'm to scared to tell my parents or anyone so i'm gonna wait till i'm 16 so i can go to a walk in clinic, but the main thing i wanted to ask youwas i'm at the age where i want to have oral sex but i don't want my girlfriend to laugh or make fun of me or dump me becus of these bumps so i need some advice on how to tell her.
I see what you were referring to. I hope my right ear unblocks and I don't need to post again. Will try to follow up on same post next time. Regards.
So for the past few days to a week I have had a salty taste on my tongue and lips (though the lips taste is probably just from the tongue). I think in the past I've noticed that this happened in conjunction with burning my tongue on something hot and I just passed it off as a result of burnt taste buds or a healing mouth.
I took it easy for the rest of the evening and that feeling passed, but now (late in the evening) I have a sore throat - like a lump in my throat when I swallow, hurts a tad if I talk (I'll bet you wish it hurt when I type so I would shut up). So in the end the bumps seem to have been confined to my two hands, and are fading away, while these other cold symptoms are developing. Are different fingers on two separate hands "distant" enough to rule out herpes?
