complaining

777396 tn?1329787551 I have chosen not to tell anyone at work that we are trying to conceive. The place I work is pretty strict about using vacation time for only half days or full days, so taking 2 hours there or 2 hours there doesn't work. During the summer they had flex time where you could use 2 hours and make up the time. How do many of you handle work and all your appointments? By the way, my manager is male, so it is difficult to talk with him. Thanks.
Avatar f tn I wish I had time to swim between work and school I have no time to think. But i give all the ladies credit who carried and still are carrying through this heat. I am not far along like most of you ladies, but I can only imagine what its like.
Avatar f tn My coworkers at the hospital at my last stay in early April treated me differently and even looked at me differently. My significant other kept pushing me to go back to work no matter how debilitating the fatigue was, no matter how numb my left leg was that had given me a limp. No matter how nauseated, no matter what pain I was in because we are in a monetary mess. I will be going through this alone as far as family and friends.
952564 tn?1268368647 Okay, so I work full time and I can't lose my job. However I struggle with concentrating and memory. I forget to do things often and very suddenly. I can tellt his really annoys my co-worker who does not know about my bipolar. This co-worker is above me in importance, not a boss but sort of a supervisor. I don't really want her to know about my bipolar, but I also don't want her to go stomping off to my actual boss complaining.
541196 tn?1293552936 She ordered lots of blood work and a thyroid sonogram. The blood work came back indicating I needed to have a MRI of pituitary gland with and without contrast, but she wanted me to check with insurance on it first. My insurance only covers it if the $2000 deductible has been met first!!!! So, I have to pay out of pocket pricing which will likely be better than help from insurance knocking the price down for them being "in network".
Avatar m tn I have had several playdates with her at my house, but what seems to happen that the two girls wants to do totally separate things. The other girls will do what my daughter wants and then when we do what the other girls wants it's harder. We get through it but it's hard. I don't have the an issue to much there with her friend leaving at that time.
329165 tn?1515471990 The best coping skill I can suggest right now is to talk to them and let them know how certain actions and words from them make you feel. If you can't do this by yourself, schedule a therapy session so your therapist can help you explain to them that this is potentially triggering for you and that it isn't right to treat you like this. Unfortunately, you've fallen into unhealthy relationship habits over the years, and now that you're stable, you're realizing it.
Avatar f tn what is going on- but need to have some guidance and direction as to how to handle the situation. We are not going to sleep with my stepson (who is 11) so that he feel secure at bedtime. My husband has recommended that he see a pyschologist/therapist- to get any issues worked out but his mom has yet to agree on the matter. Do you have any recommendations for us? It concerns us both a great deal. Here is what we are currently doing. 1.

4654179 tn?1595183520 For moms who returned back to work, how did you handle it? Im stressing out and I think I'm gettjng anxiety. My husband will be taking care of him but I wish it were me. I'm the mom. To make matters worse his mom works nights and she'll be home with baby as well and I feel like I can't trust her. This week she said she was going to take my baby to Mexico and just leave. I told her I would call the police and she just laughed. I asked my husband and he said she was joking.
Avatar f tn You may be able to talk to your doctor and see if you can get a referral to an occupational therapist or a physical therapist to help you with some of your challenges.

Avatar f tn Okay maybe to some this is not a big deal but to me this is tough to handle....I was thin...too thin....when I finally went cold turkey.....then I had severe insomnia and carbohydrate cravings with withdrawal and I gained over 20 pounds.....and now I cant seem to lose weight....I know how to do it and I know how to eat healthy but I just cant get myself to do the right things.....
Avatar n tn s complaining about my work because I should know how to bag her stuff so I get angry and say the whole story of how she had it bagged first how I also gave her an Xtra bag because everything was forced into hers in the first place, also how I never argued with her before she even asked to speak to my manager....
Avatar f tn How do others handle stress at work? I work in an office and since ive been pregnant I've been unable to deal with stress. When I'm stressed out I lose all concentration. I mean I'm struggling to concentrate as it is and if someone pees me off I become idle as I can't string two thoughts together. Very frustrating when you have lots to get on with!
Avatar f tn m quite independent and I do not need to spend everyday or every night with my man, basically it seems the opposite of him. Today he messaged me from his work saying he wanted to spend tonight at my place until he goes to work tomorrow morning, he gets up at 5:00 am, Cook's breakfast, makes coffee. I do not sleep well if there is any noise, plus I am tired of cleaning up after another person in my kitchen, so I said no to his idea, but I know another idea is coming my way.
Avatar n tn I haven't worked since October, and I'm self employed. I probably won't be going to work for a few more months at least. Maybe another year. I fret about losing my health insurance, but at least I have a little more control over that than you do. I filed for SS Permanent disability in October, and I'll probably get it. :( Your situation is not that extreme, but yes, people can miss a lot of work over Thyroid issues.
Avatar f tn I'm gonna have to work as long as I can cuz I don't get paid time off, and I work elections, and we have one when I'm due.
Avatar f tn Lol... that's what I have decided to do was not talk to him about it. If he says something to me about it I just tell him "at least I'm doing something about my weight and not complaining about it." He just giggles and say "true" and walks off. This morning I got him to do one workout with me before he went to work. He seems to be in a better mood since he had done the workout. So in hoping he will continue to do it.
1216899 tn?1288570325 -) I hope you are able to rest and recover for the remainder of the weekend! Yay for the mixed blessing of having more work to do. It is hard for the body but nice for the wallet! Rest, rest, rest! Monday comes way too quickly!
Avatar f tn Each time I never recall losing a mucus plug at all..the epidural does not make it harder to push at all from my experience. Pushing was actually the easiest part for me out of everything..the contractions are the worst when they start going real good.both of my times of labor lasted almost exactly 12 hours from start to finish..hope this helped a little lol..now I'm on my third and extremely nervous ha kinda strange but also so ready to be done being pregnant..
1342745 tn?1276187960 I was diagnosed with IBS 10 years ago and I am accustomed to suffering more intense bouts of it from time to time. It seems like I suffer the most when I am stressed out. (For a few weeks before my wedding, I was on low dosage Valium to get me through.) I haven't taken medication at other times because it usually settles down into something more manageable after a few weeks, but lately I've noticed a change. I started a new job about two and a half months ago.
