Common Questions and Answers about How to get ambien in canada

ambien

Avatar m tn Thanks for the info - it helps a lot. I don't think anyone out there really has experience with ambien cessation, at least I'm not finding many that have taken it long term and then successfully discontinued. Did the clonidine help you sleep? It doesn't look like a very pleasant drug, but its list of side effects are very mild compared to trazodone. I've only been on the trazodone for four days, and mornings are still pretty rough. may talk to Dr.
Avatar f tn There is an example of a benzo taper in an article in the health pages by a british Doctor who specializes in addiction. It would be nice to find a dr who has experience in addiction to help u with this. many times people go to a weaker benzo during the taper.
Avatar m tn I took Ambien years ago for a longg period. I became tottaly addicted. I had to get detoxed in a mental hospital ward. It went very well in 5 days i was cured. Anyway WOULD I GET INSTANTLY ADDICTED AGAIN FROM 1 PILL? I heard if you have been addicted to an opiate pain killer b4. You can or will get instantly addicted again from 1 pill or a single dose. Would this happen with Ambien? I realy need to know.
Avatar n tn ambien at that dose is not extreme but since it is close to benzos chemically it is best to taper..
603015 tn?1329862973 Hi there! I have night time activation, which is what you are explaining here. I've had to get my meds adjusted to deal with this. Tired in the morning sometimes, but functiong, from 8pm and on, I can't shut my brain off. I had my seroquel during the day upped, and then switched over to the extended release which will work all day. I also had my lamactil upped as well, 5//7 nights it works well. I take ativan if I need it, but take Trazadone for sleep every night, it's not a tranq.
Avatar f tn May i ask why you abuse ambien? And how long and what for? Just need more info please.
Avatar n tn Do regular casual exercise, concentrate on some fine work like reading a book, listening to soft music, have warm shower and a gentle body massage prior to sleep. Continue Unisom, but better to get a review from the attending physician. Ambien is good choice for treatment of insomnia, but it is intended for short-term use. Elavil/Endep can be tried if you are not comfortable with Ambien and it is a non-addictive drug.
Avatar m tn I feel like I'm in no place to give advice here, as I'm back on my Vics and beginning to plan a taper, however, the last time I went through detox I know that Xanax helped with my anxiety and Ambien did help with my sleep. I have heard all the Thomas Recipes suggestions but I just felt that after being a heavy opiate user and going c/t they just did nothing to help me. I wish they did.
Avatar m tn t go back to sleep for at least half an hour. Anyone have any suggestions on how to sleep through the night? It wouldn't bother me so much except when I wake up in the morning, I feel like I haven't gotten any sleep at all.
Avatar n tn Here is a website for info on ambien http://www.thetrap.org.uk/forum/index.php Ambien one of the hardest drugs to get off of. Ambien's website says to only use 7=10 days and doctors are prescribing it for months and years now people are highly addictive to it and having trouble after withdrawing for years.
Avatar f tn The Ambien helped me to be able to put my head on the pillow and fall asleep. Later on I would wake back up after like four hours but after a drink of water I'd lay back down and be able to fall asleep again. Then wake up then fall asleep - but I figured that was WAY better than nothing. Unfortunately it's a side effect that really compounds the lethargy. Just try to remember WHY you are treating and the good it is doing for your liver. Doesn't sound like much at 3am but.........
Avatar n tn Well I've been taking clonazepam 1mg for about 18 months now, almost everyday (well every now and then for a couple months, but usually everyday) - and I also took ambien 20mg for about 3 years. I stopped the ambien 2-3 weeks ago and didn't notice any changes really, except I felt a little better and I've been a lot more entertaining/funny around my friends.
990981 tn?1249352439 The first time I saw a doctor because of bipolar was because I was involuntarily admitted to hospital. If you have no other way of going to a doctor you could go to the hospital and ask to see the psychiatrist on call. You could also look in your phone book like corlenbelspar said. I'm not sure how it works where you live, but here there's a main line you can call and they'll evaluate you then refer you to the proper clinic.
Avatar m tn I am desperate for any help. My situation is as follows: Was prescribed 4.5 mg of Xanax for about the past five years along with 2 12.5 mg Ambien CRs. Soon, the 4.5 mg wasn't enough and I was on anywhere between 10 - 20 mg of xanax a day for about a year. Made a decision to get off everything and since this July, I've cut my Xanax dosage down to 3.5 mg and my Ambien to 1.5 pills of the 12.5 mg Ambien CR.
Avatar n tn t like that but I am so exausted from not sleeping. I am also going to try not to take benadryl and norco in the morning to let me get some sleep. I don't know what to do anymore.. I will tomorrow try to take only 2 throughout the day, maybe one in the morning and then one before bed, I am just really really scared.
Avatar f tn Anyway my supply has been cut and I am nervous but glad. I need desperately to get off this stuff, I feel tired and forgetful and I want my safe and happy life back. Can someone please help? I am on Prozac 20mg and have 10 x 15 mg tabs left as well as Valium, Ambien and Xanax and Codiene. Could someone with a bit more knowledge let me know how I can make this less difficult - I cut down to 5 tabs yesterday and got diarreahea and felt awful...
Avatar m tn It will not keep you asleep all night but it will get you to sleep....I am on day 4.5 and I actually was able to get about 4 hours of sleep each night which is really good coming off of my amount cold turkey.....Hang in there.....Do not use.....and God Bless!
Avatar n tn If it was a while ago, perhaps you should ask your doctor for a referral to your allergist if that is necessary. In Canada, that is the protocol. One can develop new allergies. Also ask yourself if you have introduced any new products into your environment such as a new laundry detergent, new soaps, shampoos, body lotions etc. You may need a referral to a dermatologist as this also sounds like a skin issue. Good luck to you.
6074055 tn?1378958419 The other thing you might be experiencing, besides prolonged withdrawal from ambien, is whatever sleep problem you had in the first place that caused you to get on the ambien. That part, the sleep study might be able to identify. Good luck.
620048 tn?1358018235 I usually fall asleep by the the third floor. I do not like the sedating drugs because I tend to fall if I get up to go to the bathroom and I do not like the hung over feeling. Plus I use the hypnosis for pain as well. It gives me a great feeling of control. To me insomnia is the opposite, the utmost in loss of control.
