This routine helps to increase stamina, core strength, metabolism, and cardiovascular health. Of course this won't privide immediate results but you should start to notice abs in 2-3 weeks(as long as this is done 3-4 times a week). Remember the longer you do a workout the more your body adapts to it, so remember to slowly increase the intensity or number of reps. Good luck!

It will take a heck of a lot more than a week for your abdominal organs to return to their proper size and location. Stay hydrated and start gently getting yourself into a routine of taking walks a few times a week. Don't start drastic diets or trying to force things back in place with constrictive clothing, don't start any crazy workout routines.

My routine is the following,( I only use machines ) I do 6 reps of the maximum weight I can lift perfectly for 6 times then I move the pin to a lighter weight and do 12 reps then move the pin to a lighter weight and do 24 reps.That's 1 set I then rest for 90 seconds and repeat the set two more times with the 90 second rest between each set.

I joined a gym for this and the trainer told me that I would get them…but NOOOO!! That did not help me and later on I have tried a few tips that I have been suggested by my friends but that also was of no use (the whole thing helped the abs a little…but not as I wanted).

Muscle-building techniques increase the size and definition of your abdominal muscles. However, the length of time it takes to get-six pack abs depends upon your gender, how consistently you train and whether or not you have an excess amount of body fat.

Avatar m tn I am thinking about trying to revamp my routine into a 4 day split with a day of cardio (as my off day). Maybe something like 1-arms, 2-legs, 3-chest/back, 4- shoulders- 5- run, then repeat. I do 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps, also doing a little abs everyday. Any suggestions/advice/constructive criticism would be much appreciated. I wanna be as muscular as possible but mainly tone/cut. I would like something I can continue for life. I eat pretty healthy/take protein powder 1-2 times a day already.
Avatar m tn Suggest he do some reading,researching or speak to a trainer (you could offer to pay for him to go to one session with a trainer to get a routine worked out that is safe and effective) - - - and then butt out. Kids do all sorts of weird things - he won't hurt himself as long as he is healthy. You can lead a horse to water....

It's actually safer to lose the weight gradually. I think two pounds a week is a more achievable goal. I wish you good luck.
Avatar m tn No matter how many ab exercises you do, it won't show until the layer of fat is gone. Crunches and flutter kicks may give you six pack and but they won't show. Cardio helps burn fat and will remove that layer right off your belly. Anything that can get you heart pumping is cardio so make it fun! Dance fast to an upbeat song. Do jumping jacks. Run in place or just run. Look up at home cardio workouts for some fun ideas. Zumba is a great cardio workout.

Avatar f tn Invest in new mp3s or dvds to watch. Seriously, the only way I get motivated to work out is to buy entire seasons/series of TV shows that I've been wanting to watch for awhile. It's much easier for me to keep working out if I have something fun to watch, and my friend is motivated to run by good music. It seems like if you can create an atmosphere where you forget you're working out, it works better, at least in my experience. I hope it'll work for you too!

I was feeling itchy all over (although the itching wasn't as intense as it's described when you read about scabies), and finally I noticed that I have a small number (< 5) of bumps that look like the classic description of scabies. They are tiny--2mm at most--but you can see a white squiggly line and a dark point at the end of it. They are on the inside of my wrist and at the bottom of my thumb.

You're not necessarily going to lose weight and it definitely won't get you a six pack. You're nutrition is going to be about 90% of it but if you want to see those abs you're going to need to change up your routine.
