I should have been born in a time when smoking was allowed almost everywhere in America, and I could have smoked all I wanted to whether at my desk at work, or in any restaruant or bar, or at almost any other social occasion.

I joined a gym for this and the trainer told me that I would get them…but NOOOO!! That did not help me and later on I have tried a few tips that I have been suggested by my friends but that also was of no use (the whole thing helped the abs a little…but not as I wanted).
Avatar f tn t take any extra time to pack some healthy carrots or raw vegetables to snack on as compared to going through a drive-through or to a convenience store. Time is precious, so filling it in healthy ways is key. I would strongly recommend adding some exercise or activity to what you are doing - not only for the health benefits, but it's also great for stress in general and giving you some "you" time.

Avatar f tn My husband likes to crow that he only smokes a pack a week, but take that pack and tell him he cannot have any and watche the addiction at work! There are always two sides of an addiction and that is the physical and then the mental side. The mental one is the problem because its that one that determines your success at quitting. If you continue to smoke, in time and with certain circumstances you will be smoking more.

I am 22 so not much older than you, and have been diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) for at leat 2 years. My hubbie and I tried for 7 months before we conceived, 5 before we started talking to the nurse with my OBGYN.

Avatar f tn I also just kept doing my normal things, gardening, playing with the dog, hanging out with family and friends. Try not to get to frustrated waiting, it does get super slow, but just try to not think about JUST the birth. Enjoy being pregnant, and all those little kicks and rolls!
Avatar f tn I could go into some detail about training over-assertive dogs or dogs that no longer recognise the alpha humans, but you would be better to get a good book on the subject, or just research the subject on the internet, so you can take things at your own pace. Whatever you do, be consistent, because repetition and consistency are the keys here. Good luck - and do keep us informed with your progress.

Muscle-building techniques increase the size and definition of your abdominal muscles. However, the length of time it takes to get-six pack abs depends upon your gender, how consistently you train and whether or not you have an excess amount of body fat.
Avatar m tn Suggest he do some reading,researching or speak to a trainer (you could offer to pay for him to go to one session with a trainer to get a routine worked out that is safe and effective) - - - and then butt out. Kids do all sorts of weird things - he won't hurt himself as long as he is healthy. You can lead a horse to water....
Avatar f tn I have even been to the Mayo Clinic in Florida to try to get answers but the only thing that shows up Neurolgically is a tremor in my left leg through a EMG. When I had my MRI back in November in the ER they told me if I had it, it would have shown up other lesions that were old but from what I have read about MS that is not necessarily true. I am getting ready to turn 30 and I know that this could be a possibility but I don't want to wait forever to get a diagnosis.

Missing a few doses is not so bad but don't let it happen again (uh oh, there's my mother creeping in). I set alarms on my phone for the dose I had the most trouble remembering. When I was released from treatment, erasing those alarms was deeply satisfying.

Your body will get used to it and learn to conserve energy/calorie output to do said session. Instead to HIIT ( High Intensity Interval Training ) programs this will keep your metabolic rate in overdrive long after you are done with your work out session.

Just really need that morning cigarette, I guess I'm just gonna try to completely quit once and for all.
Avatar f tn Also, check with your hospital, because mine had recommendations on how to pack and when to bring that bag in with you. For instance, when I first get there, I'll take in my Labor Bag. A small bag with shoes to wear at the hospital, a birthing ball to blow up and an extra pillow (things to help you through labor). Once they move me to my recovery room, my hubs will bring in BOTH of our overnight bag (with pj's, toiletries, breast feeding stuff and clothes for him) and the diaper bag.
