How to force a miscarriage at home

Common Questions and Answers about How to force a miscarriage at home

miscarriage

I am still going to make an appointment soon ( waiting a week to take a home pregnancy test) and will be armed with a list of questions to ask my doctor so I can get rid of this nagging feeling. He had said to wait 2 periods as 1 month would not be enough and I'd most likely mc again. My periods are long though so I really hope I won't have to wait too long to try again. In the meanwhile, is it safe to start working out again ? I gained some weight chowing down pre-m/c.
I have had 5 miscarriages in the last two years and i know how hard it is to have a scan and to hear the words - sorry but.... If your last period was the 5th August a scan should show up a heartbeat, so your pregnancy is probably not going to continue. So sorry. I don't think that you should be rushed into any kind of procedure until you feel ready for it and have fully been able to take in what you have been told. You must do what you want when you feel ready. I hope this helps.
C unless it becomes medically necessary. I'm wondering how long most women wait to have a missed miscarriage naturally. So many people seem to get impatient and have the D&C after a few weeks, not that I'm putting that down, just that it's not the info I'm looking for. It's certainly a woman's choice, it just happens mine is to do it as naturally as possible.
Also, after talking to the dr's it sounds like if you miscarry naturally there really is just an emotional reason to wait. They give at least a little time due to in a D&C they actually scrape the lining, so after one cycle it flushes out anything left behind as well as starts to give a new plush lining. After two or three cycles it gets more plush.
I also agree that your ex needs to see a Dr. to figure out what's going on. I know you can't force her to go to the Dr. but please try to encourage it. Has her pain/bleeding stopped? If not, she might be having an ectopic pregnancy, in which case she would require immediate medical attention. I wish you all the best and hope that you get some resolution to this situation.
The baby is tucked so deep inside or her that nothing can really get to it. It would have to be a severe bodily injury to induce a miscarriage. The best thing you can do for your friend is stop blaming yourself and try to be as supportive as you can towards her which already sounds like you are. Best wishes to you and your friend. Please take care and tell your friend to get lots of rest and stay well hydrated....
and have a blood test done. With my 1st pregnancy we took a dozen pregnancy tests at home and several at a clinic, and all showed negative. We finally got a very light ( you had to turn the stick just to see it and we thought we were imagining it)positive and finally found out after a blood test that we were indeed pregnant....just in time to hear the heartbeat at 16 weeks!! So 4 months pregnant and all negative tests. Definitely get a blood test!!!
I had a m/c 3rd december 2005 stopped bleeding after 6 days, and everything was returning back to the way it was. Had a natural miscarriage at home so didn't feel the need to go back to the docs, But nnow since january started i started having pm symptoms again, morning sickness etc... so went to my docs last week was told could be pregnant again!!! So...

hi there, just over a week ago i sadly found out that i had a "missed miscarriage" at 12 weeks with baby #2. its been exactly 1 week today since having a curettage and im still bleeding and just wondering how long can i expect the bleeding to go on for? and also to anyone else who has experienced this, how long until your periods came back and how soon did you start ttc again?
Thanks so much for sharing your story. I had a D&E at 11 weeks in October following a missed miscarriage. Afterwards, I gained a pound a week for about seven weeks. I have lost two, but the last five are very stubborn. It IS hormones. I have heard that our bodies take six months to fully realize that we are not pregnant- especially with a D&C or D&E after a missed miscarriage. I think certain parts of my body still think I'm pregnant and are storing energy for the baby.
I found out I was pregnant at the end of February. I miscarried at 11 weeks, only 7 week development of fetus. I did not have a D&C and opted to pass the baby at home and did. It was devastating. I too am very nervous/anxious to get pregnant again. I will be 36 next month. I have a 1 yr old daughter also that I adore. I had a cycle last month and now am up to 30 days and think I may be pregnant again but nervous to get a test done.
I have a feeling that this is going to ruin our relationship…not like we really have one these days……but I am at a loss. I don’t want to tell her how I feel as I think it may push her further away then she has ever been to me…almost non-existent! Any advice??? I think that now that I have a daughter…I realize just how much of a blessing they truly are and just wonder how she could ever have done that! And why am I not disgusted with my sister anymore as much as Iused to be.
Don't worry about your negative test (ha ha ha.....like we didn't all do the exact same thing!!!) You can have a false negative because of the hcg level in your urine. What did one gal here say? - you can have a slow absorption rate. I also read on another site that a women received her positive beta test at the doctor's and went home to do a "pee on a stick" test so she could show it to her husband when she told him the good news. She did the test and it was negative!
they learn social skills earlier, have other kids to play with, there are many many advantages. And for me to stay home would be a challenge financially, although we could make it work. Plus, I know I would miss my job...if that makes me a bad mom, then so be it, but I am one of those lucky people that really loves what I do. We are going to sit down this week and look at both options and try to figure out what makes the most sense.
I started my 13th week today, so I'm 12 weeks. I rented a doppler and can hear my baby's heartbeat loudly. So i bet you'll hear it at this next appointment. My dr wouldn't even listen at 10 weeks so I'm not surprised you couldn't hear it at 11wks. Hang in there. I've lost a pregnancy but had a d&c so can't say what a miscarriage is like , but it doesn't sound like that's what you had. Spotting is normal, but i would be scared too.
I didn't mention to you all that I DO have a BEAUTIFUL little 2 year old girl who I'm dieing to give a sibling to. I'm angry that we waited so long to try again, and now I'm 33 and I feel like maybe here is where my problems will now begin. My husband doesn't get it either. He wantst to know why I don't want to go the his company Xmas party.....cause maybe I want to still feel sorry for myself I said. He wants to go to Atlantic City in Feb..
His feeling is that at my/our age it's just a numbers game to get to the healthy one. Keep us posted how things go for you and if the clomid helps should you decide to go that route. Good Luck!
I am a mommy of a sweet two year old-that it took us 8 years to get. A little over a month ago I had taken 2 at home tests that confirmed that we were expecting. We were excited about expecting again n told every one. We sent out cute emails to every one and even told our two year old son. I called to go in to the dr for a regular appt but they could not see me for a month. We thought we were about 2 or 3 months along. I started spotting brown spots and called and got in right away.
So glad to hear that you are pregnant. How are you handeling being a military wife? Luckily, my hubby (he's in the Air Force) is at a base where I can be with him. We're married 9 months and TTC#1. If you ever need to chat, email me at ***@**** (I know how hard it is being away from your hubby b/c I was there!! We did the long distance thing from April of 01-Feb 02 while I finished up college & had the guts to move to Phoenix) Take care....
Its just so nerve racking, I dont think I could ever go though what happend in the past ever again. My thoughts are out to all of you that have gone though having a miscarriage. To a to-be mother its more emotional than I think men and women who have never went though really think. I just pray for all you to stay strong, and think positive. I know how hard it is, I am going though it right now.
i got pregnant of june last year and had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I tried to get pregnant for a while and then my doctor put me on clomid. the 1st two months i didnt get pg even though the 2nd month i did ovulate. i just took a test three days ago and got an immediate positive and i wasn't due for my period until the next day. i took 4 pregnancy tests over the course of 2 days and each line was darker. could this indicate a strong pregnancy?
I feel fine and only other symptoms i have had is headaches, really sore boobs and my skin is getting bad and of course positive preg tests. Last year I had a miscarriage at 6wks and am very very worried this is going to end in the same way. Last time I had cramping and bleeding happened within 3hours. Can anyone put my mind at ease, is this normal??? I am hoping and praying that everything is normal and my baby is fine!!!
Yesterday, I went to my doctor's office for an appointment. I had some light spotting in the morning but it was gone by the time I went to my appointment. The doctor still thought it would be a good idea to have an ultra sound. At first, the tech could not see the baby just by using the ultra sound on my stomach so I had a vaginal ultra sound. The baby did not appear to be moving and the tech could not find a heartbeat.
All together it was about a week and I had to force myself to go back. Although I was over the physical pain, the emotional was much worse for me. It takes a while for your hormones to get back to normal. If you are still hurting physically, I woudl definitely take a little longer if possible. How understanding is your employer? I was lucky cause I had worked at the same place for 6 yrs and they knew I would be there if I could. Take care of yourself, do what feels right to you.
I am waiting for my HCG to drop to 0, but my ob said once it does to expect AF in 2-4 weeks. Some may depend on how far along you were and how long it took to drop to 0. Not an exact science by any means, but a general idea. Good luck and let us know.
Welcome to Part 6! Please make yourself at home!
monday evening managed to go to work, still bleeding heavily. arrived at A and E at 11.30pm. took 3 hours to be seen by a doctor, they tried to admit me to the ward warning me that it could be an ectopic pregnancy. i wanted badly to come home, so she gave me my latest blood test result. my HCG levels have DROPPED substantially. from 1000...to just 30. its not a viable pregnancy, and i was told to expect to miscarry completely by next week.
After trying for 4 years after our miscarriage we kinda gave up on trying to have a baby I was going to school and looking for a job and we had a Quicky one night cuz we were both to tired and now I'm 20+5 finding out the sex Monday if it opens its legs this time
I always eat way to much when I go there with the salad and the bread sticks with alfrado sauce and only ate half my meal then i got a desert to take home which I haven't gotten a chance to eat yet. :( The burping has gotten pretty bad the last few days. I have suffered from indigestion since I was very young. (GURD) Zantac is the only thing that seems to help right now with the discomfort and I really don't like taking it cuz it's a catagory B.
