1936550 tn?1348360208 So my husband and I want to go to a Japanese buffet. But I'm not sure what I can eat or cannot eat. I've never been to a Japanese buffet so I'm not sure what kinds of food to expect but seafood. Anyone know what foods are allowed or not allowed?
Avatar f tn I got mojo chicken from a grocery deli. I made rice, and gonna make french fries for my family but for my and my Little Who, we're gonna eat baked potato instead of french fries since it's more healthy. Love to put butter, sour cream and cheese, wait a minute, that's not healthy eaither but it sure sounds yummy lol...hmmmmm so good. And I'll make a salad on the side.
Avatar f tn I agree with the above comment. To gain weight, if nausea is the problem then just eat whatever you can keep down. If not, then follow your cravings! Just increase whatever you would eat normally.
Avatar m tn ve introduced more and more of our fast food chains over there but the older Japanese still eat the traditional rice, veggies, soy, fish, green tea, etc. Something to think about. I think in many ways they're healthier than we are and live longer.
Avatar f tn what are an example of eating healthy like i need examples on how to eat healthy im breastfeeding and i also want to take care of my self
Avatar f tn t found if there was a grain native to the area, so actual paleo people did eat grains even before they were able to prepare them to make them not so hard to chew. This diet isn't so much paleo as it is just another modern high protein diet. Might be good, might not be, but again, it's a fad diet that research will probably show doesn't work any better than any other diet and might be worse.
Avatar m tn as i mentioned, there is a strong link with MS & Crohn's. this told to me by famous world-renowned MS researcher/neurologist(see patients too). i'd never heard that. my sister has Crohn's and i have MS plus miserable gastro issues. you know this from this thread and the MS thread. i wish it were as easy as simply a change of diet. i have been eating clean for years and drink only water 95% of the time. other liquids are cranberry and pineapple 10% of time. i don't eat out.
Avatar f tn I'm with you meme1isme. How do the millions and millions of Japanese woman do it when the biggest staple of Japan is raw fish. I ate sushi, hot dogs, sandwich meats all through my pregnancies, and little olé 5th me had 9lb healthy girls.
Avatar f tn Can someone explain to me what not to eat and what's okay to eat. Cause I love hot sauce and all sea food.
Avatar m tn There has been no disruption to routines or major changes in food, the other dog and the cat are both fine. She wanted to eat but when you fed her she walked away. It seems like she was just refusing food altogether. Has anyone any clues as to what this could have been as my dad is worried sick about the other dog.
Avatar f tn I heard it is the best way to lose weight rapidly but it is so hard to do. What do you eat during your diet?
Avatar m tn I'm not aware of any connection between iodine and Japanese lifespans. Even Japanese in Japan who adopt a more western diet, meaning, mainly, more processed foods and meat, start to get the same diseases as Americans, and they would still be eating seaweed, meaning plenty of iodine. And Deep, the negative info about soy starting coming out about 10 years ago, when I was still managing health food stores.
Avatar f tn I have trouble deciding what healthy foods to eat I need to lose weight before the summer can you list Amy healthy foods such as meats and whatnot.
Avatar m tn Also I wish I spoke Japanese to be able to understand all of this. They don't say which supplements she is taking?!?! It's funny that we try to help each other by saying which supplements to take.
1028452 tn?1537448484 Yep. It's interesting how we know how to use our microwaves, television and alarm clock but don't know how our bodies work. lol We'd rather listen to our doctors who tell us to keep taking drugs than to try giving our bodies what it really needs and wants... exercise, water, sunshine, air, healthy food, temperance, God and rest.
4423351 tn?1354369925 This caused me to be unable to tell wether or not I needed to eat. But what I did is eat a small portion for each meal, and little snacks in between. If you honestly feel to sick for it then try drinking something that fills you up or don't eat the meal but eat a slightly bigger snack later. Gradually increase your portions until they're healthy for you. Also, look up what daily servings of fruits, grains, etc. you should be getting on myplate.
Avatar f tn I buy a lot of chicken thighs (boneless and w/bone) to try to make it different ways. I used to be able to eat BBQ chicken with certain types of BBQ sauce but can't do that anymore. I can tolerate some sauces like alfredo sauce but those type of sauces do not help weight loss so I try to avoid them. Spaghetti sauce gives me problems but I did find a new marina sauce that is called sensitive marinara and it is much better than regular marinara. I don't care for brussel sprouts.
959034 tn?1253671476 How do you know if you are eating healthy? I want to loose a little weight. I also want to eat healthy, and eat enough. I'm disabled and don't get much exercise either. Any ideas?
