First, vyvanse is a med that can be mixed with water. It does need to be taken fairly soon afterward, and the whole capsule mixed into the water. Your child would need to drink all of the water it is mixed with. If he only drank half the glass, he might only get half the dose. As far as I can tell, the amount of water used is not a problem as long as all of it is drunk. Apparantly, acidic foods can cause vyvanse to not work as well.

Try taking your blood pressure a few times on the Vyvanse and off the Vyvanse, at similar times of day and under similar circumstances. YES! I'm a 22 year old male taking 50 mg vyvanse daily. I'm in recovery for alcohol and cocaine abuse. Been sober now for 10 months, and yes it has been difficult not to abuse vyvanse. Addicts think different than most people. We find something we like and all we can think is more more more. What I do is get a friend to hold my vyvanse and give it me as needed. I don't recommend holding on to them yourself!!! Bad idea!!

I am really sensitive to medications. Adderall was like what I imagine taking crystal methamphetamine feels like. At least I felt like how those people looked. I have been on Vyvanse for a while now. And was worried when they doctor said it was very similar to Adderall XR. But he promised me that the issues I was having with feeling ill, insomnia, and no appitite would lessen on Vyvanse. And that the nasty, gross stimulant feeling I got from Adderall would go away.

Not applesauce, since at that point in the prep you are required to be on a clear liquid diet. You could cut the Sutabs in half if they are too big to swallow comfortably. If you know in advance that pills are a problem for you, there are also liquid preparations that you can drink, but in general that's by prescription from your doctor, or at least in consultation with him.

I would first ask your doctor about increasing the V dose. V is a smoother drug that can take up to 45 mins to start working and you may just not be used to its gradual onset. However, it should last 10+ hours. If it does not - thats a pretty good sign you are underdosed.

I had them with my 1st baby, and it took a good 3-4 weeks for them to dissolve. It helps if you take a sitz bath with epsom salts. Just have like 2 or 3 inches of warm water in the tub, and add a cup or 2 of epsom salt to it, and just sit there for about 10-15 min and soak. It will help with the dissolving process and swelling if you have any. The more you do it the faster it will help.

I started out on Vyvanse, then due to insurance went to generic Adderall. I found Vyvanse to work much better, so I think I solved the insurance problem and I'm going to go back on Vyvance soon after I finish my Adderall generic.
