am on aspirin, bisoprolol and simvastatin. previosly had atenolol. if i have angina it is hard to detect. i have episodes of heartburn which doc says are angina attacks. i have just had a thyroid lobectomy. blood levels were borderline high and i had constriction probs, and wonder if that was causing the breathing probs, heartburn and palpitations.

m allergic to acetmenaphin(tylenol) which is supposedly the only thing I can take while pregnant. My doctor refuses to write me prescriptions for anything else and tells me to deal with it and there's nothing else like aspirin that I can take. She's very rude. My sister had a baby about a year ago, she's allergic to tylenol as well and her doctor told her other medicines she can take that wouldn't be harmful to the child. She can't remember what they are tho.

I've heard wonders about baking soda and water. Mix a teaspoon, no more than a teaspoon of it, with about 1 or 2 cups of water, no less than 1 cup. My gma use to do it when she was pregnant and got the tip from my great grandmother who was a midwife almost all her life. Just don't do it more than once a day. It'll make you burp, but you will feel better. The baking soda counteracts with the acids in your stomach making it go away within a short amount of time.

d like to add that I have lost two pounds between my 2 wk appointment because also for the past three weeks I have been suffering with acid flux/heartburn very badly. So bad til it makes me skip meals to avoid the heartburn. I also noticed that I wake up feeling nasally; I have to blow my nose (trying to clear my throat), it feels like the back of my throat is filled with mucus. I have not had a cold or virus or any so throat.

It has gotten really bad since being pregnant to where its effecting my work and daily obligations. Hi ladies, what's a good way to relieve heartburn besides for tums, Zantac and meds. I stay away from meds while pregnant. I usually just fight threw it but it's every night and almost day now :/ never had this much with my first so unsure how to relieve it? Thanks! Btw I'm 30w3days alonge.

You have more blood volume while pregnant so your heart has to work harder. If the chest pains have you in tears I would call your doctor and let them know. Sometimes heartburn will mimic chest pain also, it could be a lot of things.

I am in no way trying to complain, but how many of you have had pretty easy pregnancies? Maybe my idea of being pregnant prior to actually being pregnant was way different then reality... I don't know haha. 32 weeks tomorrow.
