I've got varicose veins this time my doc told me to get compression socks but they are expensive! For those of you who have had them do the socks help? I don't want to spend all that money on them if its not gonna help.

I have discussed this with my doctor and they just seem not to know how to diagnose this strange pain. Mine is definitely during the arousal time, but the more I am aroused it gets stronger and then subsides but the pain is very dull and achy around my labia. its almost like its the muscles around it and it totally gets me out mood. No, they are more of a cosmetic issue, but then to pop up during pregnancy because our bodies are pumping extra blood through our system.

Hi. Sounds like you are inthe final grueling weeks. I don't knwo the answers about the purpura. I have some varicose veins too and didn't see andy change during treatment. I am not sure if you are saying there was a change or you have always had blots of purple --however, you should probably ask your primary care doctor about them. I do think I know what you are saying about your back though. During treatment my back was highly sensitive, especially around the neck.

I'm on my 4th pregnancy And I started getting them in my 2nd pregnancy. The veins started to get more visible around my right ankle and I don't know how to explain it but on the back of my right calf I ended up get something looking like a small bunch of grapes due to the veins. Oh Im so sorry to say this but unless you have them removed with a laser the swelling will go down after delivery but they will never go away. I got them with my 3rd pregnancy and with my fourth pregnancy they werent that bad and now they hurt and are like bulging out of my skin. I only have them on my right leg but theyre embarrasing.
